The situation with NC

KK

What are your longterm plans for neocron? Is it going to be kept like this? Cancelled?

At this moment the game is so fucked up its rediculous. My apologies for using such a word but is there a single working feature ingame but tradeskilling?

Netcode... erm?
PVE re-evaluation... coming?
Imp rewamp...coming in november?
Weapons fixes... dunno when this will be adressed.

Weapons still do not do damage according to TL!

The only way of PVE is exploiting, or killing regants. And PVP...well there is hardly some. People arent playing this game anymore. We used to have a small but constact population but most people have left due to very bad decisions or most probably lack of them and pretty none but a few bugs/exploits have been adressed in the last 1-2 years. I still play with most "negative features" that i spayed since i started on June 03.

Niddhog or Snowcrash or someone said that KK cant grow with NC. That is no excuse for poor management of a game. And... yeah KK can't grow with a game that KK themselves constantly neglect.

This is not just about us not getting our "content" patch. Its about it being a minimal affort in the first place. Though perhaps unfair... all that comes to mind when i see a release date approaching is... what will be exploitable now? What's bugged? Look at past patches... they have broken more things than fixed. Things have gone worse eversince the launch of NC2, perhaps before.

At this moment NC is like a grandmother in lifesupport that no one can let go. If you intend doing nothing or continuing with the same poor management, please pull the plug.

neocron is an awsome game but you lot really have to open your eyes and realise...his rite. Man i miss neocron its sad to say but neocron (back in the day) was and still has remained one of the best times ive spent infront of my computer! I miss neocron, its already dead to me...the plugs already been pulled its like theres new management and his alwayz on holiday so nothing is being done.

Thread starter is right either start doing something about the game, give us updates like you used to years back when there would alwayz be a new update or new idea, not patching once every 4 months. People pay for this but people are realising slowly and the games dieing.

Mayb thats wat they want so they can spend all their time on their new game...its like drugs amazing when yr on it but once you go a month without it u realise what bollox it was.

Tradeskilling doesnt even really work either... The fact that you can have 300+ construct and have no advantage over someone with only 180 construct makes no sense to me.

i dunno why you think this way, i think neocron is fine now. i cant say theres anything wrong atm in pvp, i like it. i cant complane, tho i can say pve is kinda boring atm and its not a pleasent way of making money and getting stuff what it used to be. yes i know there clipping/netcode problems and such but well they dont bother me that much.

Listen newbie, every question you ask, comment you make, complaint you say has been made and said already before, and as a result someone (certainly not me) has had my account temporarily banished twice.

This game is a one of a kind, it makes me laugh, it makes me cry. I can't imagine not playing it, or not having it exist. For all the flak I and others give KK, they know they have ultimate power over our souls. I can't bring myself to leave, and this game WILL NOT BE CANCELLED!!!!

Its the only game i play aswell... but id rather see it done with if the decline continues.

I also have the feeling that they are going to get their new game running... give us free playtime and carry our subscriptions to it and dump NC. Thats why i asked about their longterm plans. The other scenario i see, will be that NC will be kept on life support with very little or no development. Id rather say goodbye to the game than any of those above.

Also ive been with this game (the only mmo ive payed for) since the summer 2003. Ive met people that im still in contact with alltough halfway accros the world, and some i consider good friends. I spent good times with them during the years. Now 9/10 of the people i know dont play anymore. Most gave up after years of disappointments and/or broken promises. Its not that NC is not known at all... while not being the most known mmo its definitely invoking a lot of resentment in A LOT of old players, and i believe rightly so.

And yes i said nothing new but it was how i felt and still feel. And by supporting this game for on/off 4+ years i believe i have a right to critisize its developers.

This was more a shape up request than anything, i mean look at the damn game. Up until NC1's end... I would play with people at any time of the day. There was allways people and not just that but you could PVP or PVE in several places. You could bullshit with a new person ingame everyday and you saw and talked to so many people you kept forgetting their names the next second. 90% of the time there was more than one poker at P1/P2 and you could bye and sell stuff all the time. There was a team at the canyons almost 24/7. Now its either PP1, opfights, "droning" or regants and all the buying and selling is through Ressi Blade.

NC has allways had its problem's but there was a time when we had regular patches and atleast someone at KK was trying or atleast there was work done on NC.

I doubt some of the people ranting about my rant havent seen NC when most people loved it and it was vibrant. If you have and youre content... well im happy for you.

lol do you really believe that???? Let me say that once other game the black thingy is online, NC won't have any reason to be kept by KK... it's a buggy, worthless, i really think that they will drop NC server into a big been and say: " so sorry guys nc server have been corrupted and the backup are useless..." that will make me happy because it will put an END to this game and i'll keep my wonderful memories of the NC 1... sure i'll miss its environment, its bugs and my friends... have been playing since winter 2003 and really NC is the only one mmo that i really enjoy... but now there is 2 choice to KK to do: First bug more dev on the game or make it die for real...
