Over the last days (and nights) our fellow volunteers Alduin, ArkHive and Zoltan have invested a huge amount of time to better secure the Neocron Services against unscheduled downtime. Alongside these changes, a new server is made available that should do a much better job in terms of stability, performance and availability:
TITAN [EU]
TITAN is a regular 4-slot server, hosted and run by the volunteer team, located in a German datacenter.
The server is currently being tested and while you can already connect and we encourage you to help test stability and performance, please keep in mind that there will be a complete reset with the transition to the retail/live operation of the server. Please be aware that the server may be restarted with or without prior notice during the testrun.
If and/or in what way a character transfer to TITAN can be made available is still being evaluated.
Please note, that TITAN [EU] may show as "OFFLINE" in the server list while it is in fact up and running. You should be able to connect just fine - the bug is known and will be resolved soon™
The servers TERRA [NA] and MARS [NA], which are hosted on the servers provided by Kirk Lenke in Canada, are to remain online.
As the latest DDoS caused a hard crash with implications on the data integrity of the server Terra, the server is not available at the moment.
We are working on a solution to bring back Terra cleanly and without loss of game data and kindly ask for a little more patience on this matter.
