Ok recently ive been playing a "scavenger" type guy who only uses recycled or wasteland trader bought stuff. And ive thought up a few recycling recipies...
Trash Grenade: 2 hair, 1 metal plate, 2 Glass, Solantium (couldnt think of any thing to make it go bang)
Chitin armour: 2 Chitin, 2 Large Flesh, 1 small limbs (increase quantities for higher lvls)
Flashlight: 1 glass, 1 wire, 1 begger shocker
Spray can flamer: 2 pipes, 1 metal plate, 2 small hydraulic parts
any one else got any ideas?
PE Power Armour: 2 Metal Plates, 1 Glass, 1 scuba diving suit.

wouldn't it be 2 side view mirrors from 21st century cars?
Think you could "mod" the PA with some ULTRA rare drops down under the DOY tunnels or 1 to 1000 chance from a *** mob...
And with HIGH recycle you could make the PA even better, +5 in some resist or something.
Then a recylcer could be a cool tradeskiller once and for all..
There should be one "drop" for each CON stat.
Self Constructed Paw: 1 Metal Plates, 5 Pipes, 2 large Hydrolic Parts
Small Hydrolic Parts: 5 Pipes, 2 Metal Plates
Large Hydrolic Parts: 2 Small Hydrolic Parts, 1 Pipes, 1 Wire Junk.
How about these ones then?
Small Hydrolic Parts: 10 Pipes, 3 Metal Plates.
Large Hydrolic Parts: 19 pipes, 10 metal plates, 5 Wire Junk, 5 Computer Junk.
Self Constructed Paw: 10 Metal Plates, 10 Pipes, 3 Wire Junk, 1 Small Hydrolic Part

PE PA: 1 bucket, 1 old Robocop costume. :)
1 trash can, 2 carboard boxs, 2 insect eyes, 3 cables, 1 lobster shell
Junk Scope (like a standard scope just dont zoom in as far): 2 Glass, 2 High precision parts
Hack computer: 2 Hardware based OS, 2 Processors, 3 wire and maybe something else out of WBs/Spiders etc
Trash Nade Launcher: 2 metal pipes, 2 Large Hydraulic parts, 3 wood
Tin Knuckles: 1 metal plate, 1 pipe
Large chunk of meat (the healing one): 1 rotten or Deseased flesh, Solantium (maybe 5 peices of flesh can be cured with 1 solantium)
Trash Pumpgun: 3 metal plates, 2 pipes, 3 wood, 1 small hydraulic parts
Cursed soul, 1 tuft of hair :D

i had an idea to stage recycling, like you could make a B1:
B1: 1 street rifle, 3 wood, 3 high precision parts, 1 junk scope.
(some type of claw): 3 junk knives, 3 wire junk, 1 metal plate

SA: 1 wirejunk, 1 computer junk :p
Monk PA:
1 glass, 1 hood, 1 Neo Matrix Coat
or beat up the new yawa mob that they are bringing in that drops the monk PA :p

i would prefer the explosive A chem in it .. but it cost ~750 and is a little to expensive :)
but then again why not build a:
Plaza Pipebomb: 1 Explosive A, 1 Pipe, 4 Plates, 4 Wires.
or simply build more them one granade
10x Trash Grenade: 1 ExplosiveA 4 Pipes 4 Plates (didnt calculate it whats the prize of a Trash granade ? 100c ?)

Yeah those wastelanders are gonna run into a problem once they raise levels.
They'll be capping all their crap weapons and end up with rank 7/65 :-)
And then......... they're comming to Plaza 1 to kill the copbots :-)

I'm very excited about the possibilities of the new recyclable items, I think it's a fantastic feature and really hope it's expanded upon.

i got all the recycles figured :p
plate for blade, wood for handle, wire to tie the blade to the handle and wrap round the handle (have a look at the ingame model theres some hanging off)
any other questions on how the weapons part are relevant :p

somehow you have to put the pipe to the plate. and it makes a cool handle - red and blue wire stripes

Tube launcher (new: very slow RoF, AoE rocket launcher, hold 1 then reload): 5 Metal Plates, 2 wood, 3 Large Hydraulic parts
or maybe able to make some ammo's from scratch
Shotgun shells: 4 Glass, 1 pipe, 1 solantium (makes 16)
9mm: 1 metal plate, 1 pipe, 1 solantium (makes 20)
5.56: 1 metal plate, 2 pipes, 1 solantium, 20 9mm
etc etc.
oh and what junk do the new mobs in the DoY tunnels drop? and n e one think of any rareish junk that aint been mentioned? imn on a roll here :p
Good Lazaar Gun (9mm pistol): 3 wood, 1 metal pipe, 2 metal plate.
Picked up 3 Outstanding Bone Implants from mobs and mutants in DoY (Terra server) yesterday. (1x TL9 headbone + 2x TL3 Footenforcements).

Bleh, I remember that. Had a nice place in the OZ where I could eat and sleep without any ugly mutants knocking at my door.

yar... Marx put in a lot didn't he?
Well.... I agree that trash grenades (level 1 and 2), self-constructed claws, and so on should be recycle-only... all the way up to TL 100... so there's even more incentive to be a recycler.
Explosive chems need to come into use, though.
