Two questions!

1.) In 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons, is there a prestige class for the Telepath class (Psion archetype)? I've looked through the Epic Handbook, the Players Guide and the Psionic Handbook about three times but can't find anything so far.

It's just when you start reach the Epic levels with a character like mine, you really do want to expand your manipulative abilities.

2.) Anyone play D20 Star Wars Pen and Paper? If so, is it any good? My Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Master is tempted to start a campaign set during the Rebellion era, and gave me dibs on a Force-sensitive character.

Just wondering if it's worth pushing ahead with starting it.

Thanks in advance.

Peace.

I've never heard of a Telepath class in aDnD you'll find a lot of player rules around on the net for it, then again i havent read all the handbooks so i wouldnt know lol.

Never played starwars pen and paper, didn't see the point, i played sla industries though, far better game than any i've played to date.

Well if there is a telepath class you'll probably find it in 'Tome and BLood' the expansion book for wizards and sorcerers.

About star wars, hope you got plenty of material about it its not like the standard ruleset discusses the use of motorised vehicles not even talkign about mechs etc.

I played both the old (West End Games?) version of Star Wars and the D20 version, and although the old system seems to work better, it is a fun system* despite it's flaws. I say twist your GM's arm and encourage him/her to start up a game of D20 Star Wars and give it a go!

* of course, a good GM can make a great game out of the worst systems! :D

1) In normal 3rd there isn't really anything that specialised. However, the Expanded Psionics Handbook for 3.5 has a Prestige Class called the "Thrallherd". It has several abilities that make forcing people to bend to your will more efficient.

2) I'm still not sure wether I prefer the d6 Star Wars from West End or the D20 Star Wars from Wizards (so I have everything for both, keeps me happy). They handle the setting about equally well: The Force can be used to create massively unbalanced characters in either rules set... If you play D20 all the time via D&D, I'd say its easier to wrap your brain around then d6, though keep in mind that the hit points and armor use different (many believe superior) systems which could take some adjusting to.

Serpine:
3.5, eh? Hmmm....I'll have to look for that. :D

When you're not the leader of anything, yet you still have them all doing what you want, you KNOW you've got it going. :p

Everyone else:
Thanks for the replies; I'll see what I can throw together for pre-Star Wars D20 gaming. ;)

Peace.
