A while ago, (sometimes still, but more indirect now)

there was a lot of threads about people being bored.

I have recently started a PE on the Saturn server. (those that have seen the NCPD list will know who ;))

It is a char dedicated to crime, and because of that, I initiated my char, with getting myself thrown out of my faction (TG), so I became a factionless runner.

I then on purpose killed Nomad Traders to get my soullight down to a negative. (it´s at -29, I have no access to citycoms, but isn´t -16 the limit, where you get on the list ? or is it -32, if it is -32, then I will just have to kill a few more nomads).

Anyways, this char will not enter a city.

I am using Nomad bought weapons (atm.).

I have settled in the Crest Village, made it my home, and told everyone that came close, to bugger off.

I am having a blast, and it is extreme fun.

Very much more fun, to fight with a 22 % all over weapon, than a 120 % all over.

With this kind of weaponry, you take things that are your own rank, and everything above, you shoot whilst running ;)

Anyways, now you know who it is, and you can act along if you like, or you can go have fun killing me.

Just remember one thing.

You only get the fun, you make yourself.

(above mentioned statement, is a hope for the RPers out there, to start living their chars life, and not their own, whilst they are playing)

Sound impressive,

I would like to reward your dedication with a gift of some constructed weapons etc.. that you wont mind losing but will help you defend yourself with a little more vigor. (are you capped ?, pistols I assume)

Could i suggest using an epic reward for your weapon (undropable) to protect your self from the hoardes that are sure to seek you out.

& remember the outzone prison is always open to you.

I shall attempt to contact you ingame, & maybe share a cron 55 over a burning tyre at Crest.

it´s a brand new char, no money, no items, no skills.

I made him, and my first action, was take out LE, kill Supply Manager (with a 3rd person view ;))

get thrown out of faction.

get babysitted from TG to Crest by a PPU,

Kill nomad traders to get to -32 sl.

and now I´m 3/9 i think my rank is.

however my gun is broken, so I been killing bats with my fists ;)

Have you ever commuted to El Farid Village recently naimex? I believe a female melee PE attacked me (OORP: On my tank) whilst I was making a brisk run for the hills.

However the female PE that was stalking me was using either a PoT or PoB, so going on what you previously said I don't believe it was you.

Nice to hear people are moving out of the cities and bases to live "out in the wild", was considering doing this in the OZ, as I recently went exploring there and it is a cool place to be.

EDIT: OORP - Can't have been you, having read your last post. Maybe you and this other non-faction'd PE could hook up? :cool:

If you are going to live in OZ, you could move into the old church out there, theres a few muties, but once you´ve lvled a little, it could be liveable.

We could go underground, and live in the sewers, a little fire will show em whos boss

I think a hybrid could last out there, bearing in mind when I ran through there were 4-5 muties around every corner. Bring on AoE!

Another cool place to live would either be in the Storage rooms in Via Rosso, or in those little houses in the swamp areas that are on stilts. Although having said that, people call me weird when I tell them I am gonna go find somewhere to sit in OZ, as apparently RP is shunned in this MMORPG :rolleyes:

how do u go factionless...i mean...just kill aload of CA if your CA? coz last time i saw a factionless guy ALONG time ago, people we threataning to report him coz it was an exploit...which i found just plain dumb lol...sounds cool i might join you...

When BDoY is released all factionless runners will be made to Anarchy Breed. At the mo, if you are factionless you are "supposed" to report it to helpdesk so they can stick you in a faction.

Alright this is alot of fun.

Let me give everyone some background story on what is happening.

"ANARCHY-99" (Naimex) is the owner of the place where I "Loner." and "Drugie" (Napalm) sleep at.

"ANARCHY-99"
He got factionless after he ran from TG and he is being hunted down by them and CA as CA sees him as a criminal. Now he stays at this place with a lot of experience on how to survive, and he's planning on killing the NOMADS when he has enough experience, they sell for to much money. He also hates drugs (poison it is! he says).

"Loner."
He shot the guy on which his girlfriend was cheating him, and he cut him in peaces and send him to the City Admin. He then had NCPD storming his apartment and he only had a OZ Station GenRep to quickly genrep to.
He did so and he ran far and running from STORM Bots. This is when he ran into ANARCHY-99 and he got friends with him, telling eachother where they come from etc. Loner. is a real techie, knows alot of chips and how to fix things. (Roleplay, not skillwise) Loner. Likes "Flash" drugs and takes it alot while fighting, he does this together with Drugie but he makes sure she doesnt take to much as she likes to because she blacks out a lot now that she took out the chip out of her head. Drugs is much heavyer this way.
Loner. likes Drugie alot, who knows what happens.

"Drugie"
A cute but seriously tough girl who just stepped by the house one day.
The first words she said were similar to "Get close to me and I'll shoot ya in the guts."
ANARCHY-99 and Loner. then grabbed their weapons and made sure she's kool. While ANARCHY-99 had a little hard time accepting her Loner. liked her alot and secretly scanned her to see if she had no secret implants in, we had to make sure she was no spy, which she wasnt.
She hangs with us now and takes "Flash" like candy when we're fighting the bats of our house!
She kind of bags them from Loner. Though. He has access to che City Admin GoGo because the City Admin hasn't removed his rights yet, CA sucks don't they?

The GoGo is stuffed full with drugs which were taken off the market.

Might as well add my char background story:

Subject: Sarah Cerrigan, former employee of City Admin Head Quarters.
Had all the shitty shifts so she got addicted to WhiteFlash to keep her going, but she needed more and more, it wasnt long before the coworkers could see it on her, she would wear the same clothes for days, was very edgy and so on.

One day when she tried to purchase Flash from her dealer the CopBots raided the place, she ran and swoere she'd be back.

With no money, no home and her name on NCPD's wanted list she left NeoCron for good to find a new place to call home.

She met Loner. and ANARCHY-99 at the old abandoned Crest village, she knew she had to "Tough up" to stay with this crowd and so she did, it didnt take long before she charmed one of them (Loner.) she removed that implant City Admin had placed in her a long time ago and would now live a life without any laws.

With Loner. she found they had a mutual score to settle with the City Administration, so 3 in the morning they ran for NeoCron, quicly dodged past the guards at City Admin HQ... popped some RedFlash and everything else was a blur..last thing she remembers was Loner. running into the room she was clearing out of ex-coworkers screaming "THE GUARDS ARE COMMING" Loner. fell silently to the ground after this, Sarah tried to make a valiant escape but was gunned down by 3 guards...she felt wierd and hollow when she woke up on the floor at Crest Village, Loner. standing over her..with a mumbling voice she said..."you had better not try to get in my pants while we are here".

Damn.. .so some other guys finally picked up on the wonders of being free from the City?

I had the same idea a while ago, but wasn't ready to just straight flat out become anarchy breed and live in wastelands.

He's on Uranus atm, a melee PE named Turion Sensvits currently under the auspices of the Black Dragons.

He's already at bad terms with the NCPDs, having knee-capped several vendors and beggars for their lunch monies and whatever drugs they had on them.

He's still having problems trying to tear out the law enforcer, and with it in, the copbots are continually hounding him. He has to keep hiding in the mainsewers in some of the larger pipes so they hide the signal. He's also intimately familiar with the Outzone.

He's become quite adept at repairing and putting in some implants. He dearly wants a junkknife and some grenades so he can extort the citizenry more effectively. He's still training himself and gathering creds for the one big firestorm that'll finally break him out of the city, past the Stormbots and out into the sweet freedom of the wastelands.

He's already scanned some rough, badly made, old holo-maps of the swamps, and has noted some of the structures out there still standing...

Wierd, I started up a female PE a few days ago with the intention of doing a similar kinda thing, factionless Pure-RP character starting from scratch. It's pretty enjoyable :)

Catherine Blake is currently making herself comfortable in the streets Pepper Park, not easy when the Black Dragon are out for your blood, and the City Admin are just as unfriendly due to her previous allegiance to the Twilight Guardian.

Luckily for her an anonymous source is depositing credits into her account everytime she takes out a mutant in the sewers, so hopefully can afford to buy herself a little place in the OutZone soon enough. Current suspicians lie within a member of Biotech wishing to cover up illegal mutant experimentation, maybe one day she will be able to hire a hacker to trace the bank transferals, until then it remains a mystery.

That's just off the top of my head, I'll make up a proper backstory after my exams tommorow.

Alright my friends,

Sure the original pistol sound sucks and as all the new RP guys only use the Pistol or Rifle, I made a little mod for them.

Note: If you have your own mods please extract the .ZIP somewhere else so you can listen to if you like it more then what you have!

The .ZIP file contains:

Make sure you put both in: Neocron\sound\weapon_sfx\Pistol and \Rifle

well since im at work too.... Ill make my guys story...

Sam or Cactus as his friends called him, he was called that because once in el farid he triped onto a cactus, was walking throught industrial A when all of a sudden he heard a scream coming from around the corner. He ran around it to see two runners beating up on a helpless women(ooc:trixy women always seem helpless :) ) he kicked the two runners off her and scared them off. Combat chainbikes way easier to use than wheelbikes, cheaper, and easier to use with faster RoF and more range (presumably).

Plus... it looks fucking cool. Mmmm..... 5 chainbikes pulling up to a Anarchy Breed campground... Then moving on to take down a warbot or something.

I havent had that much fun playing NC in ages! This was an awesome idea and I'm glad I jumped on the bandwagon;) Made a rifle PE and headed out to Crest to join up and had a blast all night trying to force our way into the Outzone......it didnt go to well after we got deeper in;)

El Blanco was a lowly Tsunami Syndicate errand boy. Sick of being given menial jobs and being treated like dirt he grew resentful of his faction. He so wanted to be taken seriously, but it just wasnt happening, and that just made him begin to hate his own faction even more. One day he just snapped. He ran into one of the Tsunami clubs and gunned down the show girls and the bar staff, and a few of the patrons enjoying the Tsunami hospitality. He is now living in Crest, on the run from both the Syndicate and the NCPD.

hehe, i whent to some tunnels yesterday and went true crest village GR, toghether with angeldust a tank, suddenly those 2 weirdo's jump outta nowhere, red SL and all, it happend to be that we where trespassing on there turf :eek: witouth us knowing actually :/

so we moved along as soon as our synaptic was gone :) but hey, it was a creepy experience, i wasnt exactly prepared to such an encounter so i was pretty renderd speechles and can say that we got owned by those 2 people living there, luckely they wherent that aggresive at that particular moment, but it was close and it sure scared me :)

I had my Tank in there to see if his cousin could join.
What a rude and smelly bunch they were. Perfect for my tank's cousin.

So Lord Dracul went into the PP HQ and killed him some pencilpushers, while getting his str up to lvl9 :-)

At -45 SL he made his way back to Crest and joined up with them.
Was pretty fun he said and the guys were nice enough to give him a knife and armor to slash away at the bats. Then he said they were gonna go to the outzone to kill mutants, so he tagged along and when one of them yelled "mutants" somewhere near the road.
Lord Dracul had that red haza come over him, just like he had happen all his life.

-This is the reason he killed his teacher in school and ended up in the jailhouse, where the nice doctor used "long pills" or "lom pills" to sedate him, he can't remember what it was.
The nice doctor also said he was a "berzeker", so as soon as his mom came to visit, he told her proudly he had his first job ever. Being a berzeker. Strangely she wasn't proud or happy, she just cried and ran away, never to visit again.-

He ran to the launcher mutant and started slashing away at flesh and metal.
The others tried to tell him how brave he was "Go get him !!!" (actualy i heard later they yelled "stop the fool").
Somehow he ended up on the floor of crest and he contacted his new found friends and said he was going to go to the jailhouse to join them.

At the jailhouse things looked a lot different from when he was being a guest there. The place looked .... much better......
He couldn't find the way his friends went so he tried the sewer system, which led to a closed grate.
He swam back and because he couldn't get out of the water the red haze came on again and he decide to kill the jailhouse guard that was swimming alongside him.
Woke up on the floor again.

Winnox the tank is realy worried about his cousin, and he tries to communicate with Lord Dracul via a secret frequency from time to time to check up on the black sheep of the family.

I thought it would go much slower.

Especially the 20/20 clercs in the HQ give much xp at the start.

Think I´ve gained 40 lvls killing bats..

Implants make you lvl slower.

without implants, and with shitty guns, and no armor, you gain all lvls almost same time.

(Think Anarchy is dex 27 or so.)

Lord Dracul's gotten awful tired of running that much.

I am having a little trouble getting my PP nib to be factionless. As soon as I start attacking a PP NPC, the 120/120 guards attack meh.

Aside from that, I have found a nice spot near an OZ GR, and once I am factionless and un-LE'd I will be finding a more permanent residence there, hopefull with a door and roof. The neightbours are a little noisy though, keep moaning and groaning all the time, and there are dogs barking for most of the evening.

EDIT: Character Biography Till Present Time -

Alberto Malich was you everday man. He had a stable job, an appartment with a nice view, and a regular table at Rocco's Seafood. Then one day, he was working down at the ProtoPharm Lab, collecting the datasheets the biochemists had be recording on, and upon taking it to his superior he was attacked by another paper boy.

Out of self defense, Alberto pulled his knife from his belt, in the hope that his attacker would become scared and run off. Instead the attacker drew a pistol and persisted in shooting at Alberto. No body was around in this part of the office, so Alberto leapt for the door in a desperate attempt to escape. His attacker, however, was once step ahead of him and stepped in Alberto's way. Unfortunately for both the attacker and Alberto, the knife sunk deep into the attackers stomach.

Alberto decided he better go home, and went home and had an early night in an attempt to recover from the days hardships. At around 3:00 AM, there was a knocking on the appartment down the hall's door, followed by the gruff voice of an NCPD Officer requesting for a "Malich". Alberto knew this was about the inside in the office, so hastly ran down the fire exit, and fled to the Outzone.

Malich currently seeks refuge in the inner-most areas of the OZ, constantly having to change where he sleeps due to wandering mutants and such-like. As the case in the office hasn't been properly investigated, due to Malich being unable to comment, he still has a job at ProtoPharm, although this will not be sustains for long.

The best RP so far : have come from those that came to join up, or those starting a tribe in the OZ.

I´m sorry but I have to say this :

Saturn is the WORST server for RP.

I have done RP on Pluto, with great response.
I have done RP on Jupiter, took a while because of my bad grammer in german, but they played along when I got it right.

I haven´t tried on Venus, since French is something I just can´t do.

And now I´ve tried on Saturn.. Went in with very high expectations.. I took a lot of the sour..

But with the same people coming every 2 hours, each time they multiply in numbers, and do nothing but kill, empty belts, kill, empty belts, kill kill kill..

That´s just not RP.

So please, Knight of Ni, PM me when you are on, write me on msn, and I´ll give you back everything I have, I don´t have all the money, but it´s close to being there.

Might start on one of the other server, at least I know they can do RP.

Great idea, it's a shame though. Should of seen it coming myself, afterall Saturn is the most childish server at the moment, in EVERY sense. It's pathetic.

Don't forget though, if you for some odd reason decide to come back, DM me as I said ingame and I will return you all the stuff.

Naimex, I came to RP, and promptly got spoken to OOC about how saturn#s the worst server and so on..

It's very anyoing to lose a weapon that cost's a lot to buy, I've lost four junknives already... Not a big loss, but when wood is hard to find urrrggg..Wood is only thing that doesnt drop in boxs.. You have to hack boxs..to get it.. :( Sorry about your roleplay being ruined Naimex :(

Maybe you'll have more luck on Uranus? I've never played there myself, but the community is smaller, which probably means less asshats.

I am leaving you this message to say that the NCPD raided Crest Village last night. This was because of me, I believe.
Or someone else who actually had its law enforcer in, I am not sure what happend.

I do know that I just got away in time, I actually was getting wood while I saw S.T.O.R.M. BOTs closing in on the village while I was looking over a little hill. I'm sorry I got this burden on you ANARCHY-99, I believe that this would never have happend would I have gotten here.

But I hope you do not mind, and I think it would be best to move out of Crest Village and find our selfs a better place.
I have a few places in mind, but for security reasons, such as that the NCPD are logging our transmittions here, other terrorists who can not be aware of our sleeping place, I will not name the places here.

We shall meet in game later, and we can discuss about where to go.
We must keep in mind that noone who is looking for a home is not to be aware of this place.

Malich is staying, quite like where I am living now. Only passed one other non-LE character here, and they offered to help clear an area of mobs so I could get through. The junk is good, the mobs are plenty, and if anyone wants to join me then drop a DM to one of my characters in my siggy, or to Malich.

Well...after a long debate and a lot of senseless killing from sad peeps, we have decided to move to another place where we wont be bothered as much.

We started this in best intentions, made it public so people could try something other than Hunting mobs and do some proper RolePlay, I must admit a few RP'ers did come by. I especially liked the NEXT girl who wanted our home for some secret agenda, thank you Jesica Pinch for that.
But a certain Tangent clan made this especially hard, also a lot of other people but they at least TRIED to come with a RP excuse..but what the hey, you will probably one day see a gang of low lvls come threataning you when you least expect it.

You can almost take any action and skew it into somthing that look's like RP..

we got low SL and yes we got killed a lot, we don't mind that..

What we do mind are the people who come along, kill us, loot our belt's of our patheticaly weak weapon's and then throw them away..

It's the people who stay to kill us over and over and over again, most of us only have that one GR tagged, we didn't pick any other's up and we started out in the wastland's as 0/2's..

It's not easy to survive the wastland's at that level, even harder when you've got only bad and worthless quality weapons... But when your at -62 soullight it get much harder, since people are alway's after your blood... Now I went from -62 SL to -75 just defending myself...

People where comming to SL farm us, not to whipe us out, but to kill us to gain SL to kill other people then kill us again for more SL..

The same people came back, some low level's, which we managed to kill or drive off, who then called in capped people to "get the PKer's"

It was great fun, but we've got tired of being SL bitches, rerolled to be off the NCPD list but still low SL so copbot's try and get us..

I've made it to Crest Village alive now, once I tagged the GR and killed a bat an APU came by and killed me at least 5 times.
I did nothing, came back she stopped after a while and gave me my stuff back. I kindly thanked her and she left

You must be factionless, you must have low SL and you must head out into the wasteland's as soon as you are factionless (max starting rank /10)

I was actually planning to something like that myself at one point. But I did not continue with it later.

I had a pretty neat setup worked out for it though, if I became high enough level I would've been able to competenly use pistols, implant myself, research and construct ;)

i like the initiative alot :) its real fun i must say, but as you said that saturn isnt a roleplay server you are actually right ffcourse: lots of em will yust gank you for there own profit ... (getting there own sl up) ... lame he ...

but most of em wont get the point i think, i genrepped coincidentaly to crest and i met some of the gang, i didnt realise at first ffcourse until i tought about the thread here ... but by then i was so suprised that my roleplay wasnt all that lol, not to say sucky atleast ... altough i tried :p

but i think most people are so kindly suprised that you wont get alot of co-operation (for example myself i didnt know what to say cause i was baffled lol, those are things ya dont meet everyday at saturn ...) :) some of em will even be an ass and gank ya... yust cause they dont understand by far lol.

but do continue youre game, its a very nice initiative and i hope saturn will open he's eyes for a thing called roleplay :)

i will drop by a bit more often out of curiousity :)

last time those 2 gangmembers scared me away and my ppuchar almost got shot/stabbed to dead by those drugaddicted stilleto and pistolweilding gangsters ... but next time ill be prepared :)

its time to dust of the good ol brassknuckels :) break some noses and stuff :P
