sorry, even though I've been around forums for almost 6 months, I haven't noticed that SERVER MAINTENANCE message

its not a patch message you nib... they don't patch on fridays since like january 2003

To be honest, it's hardly surprising people ask ... they rarely used to schedule the maintenance consistently and on the old style forum they even more rarely remembered to announce it beforehand. :p

This new layout has a calendar function with recurring items, so I guess it's a lot easier now.
