html image problem

this has been racking my brains for like 2 days now and its actually driving me up the wall, i solved it before and cant remember how despite the simpleness of the problem

if u go to http://www.visualinsanity.net/temp.htm

u should get a white htm page with 2 images one below the other, one blue one black, and they have this stupid little gap between them. Does any1 know how in the love of holy dear god I get rid of that stupid annoying little toss of a gap, plz :)

Don't create a table within a table. You can create rows and columns inside each other, so there is no need. Not time for an example (lunch).

argh no it wasnt the tables it was those stupid hidden characters :S, incase any1 wonders u ave to move the beginning of the nested table or nested tr/td to the end of the image tag
