hey guys i was thinking why not give melee abit of an edge since it suxxors now by adding a weapon called the paw of god i was thinking itd take alot of str like 125 and remove a SD with 3 hits making melee a usefull op war char

no... it will just change the balance even more.. removing S/d and u dont need ammo like with SH with SPirit mod.

Make it do "bleeding" wounds that prevent healing. Perhaps make ppus immune to it, or have a self-cast spell that makes them immune to it.

Tbh, after the next patch melee will rock.

Though some form of tanky tool is needed.

I have a better name for it.. "Paw of Unimaginable Annoyance". Meaning I don't like it. Simply for the fact that melee tanks are annoying. AND three slashes (s/d off), continue slashing/switch to other weapon. Depending if the "Paw of Unimaginable Annoyance" does no damage.

Might be a tad overpowered even with the strength requirement. Ugh.

Yeea i'd love to c melee getting some kinda new kewl weapon , melee is pretty good now i don't want anything to make them overpowered, but new toy would be nice kinda bored to have same shit from the begining of retail...

Not only does the POB now do force and piercing, it now does poison damage

*looks around and see's all the APU's cowering*

POB owned APU's before patch, its gonna own em even more now.

Maybe it should have been called Hand of God. Unless worship some sort of animal spirit.

Hand of God would a better name imo, but removing S/D with the simple strike of a melee weapon wouldnt work at all. Thatd be ridiculously overpowered.

Im gonna have to disagree aswell, Melee Tanks with this weapon will make the game more unbalanced.

In the next patch Melee peeps will have LOADS of new toys to play with :D
