Ok since pluto sometimes has only about 6 people on and sometimes half of those people are AFK would it be at all possible for you guys to put a NPC auto poker like you have on the test server because of LOW AMOUNTS OF USERS :angel: maybe put it in plaza 2,3 or 4 so most players can get to it.

All you need is:-
poke tool
sellotape
left mouse button taped down
PC left on all the time
me thinks it can be done
(although it wont cure the problem of dwindeling users on pluto - MAYBE A FEW MORE EVENTS AND SPAWNS (AT REASONABLE TIMES) MIGHT HELP)

tape on the mouse button, works a treat. just always thought the test server one was from kk. just one 24/7 on pluto would be nice

yea i pretty much gave up on pluto after spending hours looking for someone to make me new weapons....and never found anyone....
My Char "Eric Cobalt" can poke TL 84 with ppu buff, dm me if u need pokes.
i would say your char will be unindated with request for pokes, but since the population is so low, there proberbly not many people to drop there implants

I really agree that there should be an NPC that can remote implant, construct, repair and research on every server in an area around the Plazas, and they can charge you a fee for every remote action.
There can be a menu where you can choose whether you want the NPC to perform remote research, construction, repair, or implant. One NPC in theory could do it all by using a simple question menu.
With the server populations being low (and terribly low at certain times), you can literally go hours until you come across a player to perform the remote action you need.
Until you find that player....your implants are out, your weapons and armor are critically damaged, you can't get your armor/weapons/implants/vehicles contructed, and you can't make backup copy blueprints of your gear.
I think KK should actually implement this, because without having an NPC to do this, and with the server populations so low, it is hindering the gameplay experience to a somewhat large extent if you cannot find a player to do it. People get frustrated in situations like this. Frustrations lead to cancelled accounts, and people play other games where the gameplay isn't so hindered.
Just my thoughts on it, don't flame me. =)

he does move Clown, he is in that place where he is so ppl dont move him, but he does move, when he logs on etc
but its a brill idea, id be willing to leave my pluto poker on when im on saturn or anything if KK would authorise it :)

The only way I would consider agreeing with having an NPC do that stuff, is if it was severly limited, and only appeared when the server population went under ___. (<= insert a really low number)
Examples of limitations:
- will CST, caps stats of non-rares, but zero slots everytime
- will repair with a skill of 60 (TL 120)
yaaa put teh npc on evry server in evry city there is lack of pokers and i hate waiting around for one, even tho got 2 accaunts but i can't be assed gimp on of me uber chars to poke....... Put teh npc evrywhere atleast till doy comes out, they can olways remove it if it exploited etc...
All nice ideas, but the other option is to face reality and just not log onto Pluto until DoY comes out. Pluto isn't dead, but it's definately hibernating.

Why dont you leave pluto and go to saturn where the people are? Stop complaining about how you suffer on pluto with a low pop when theres such an easy fix... I came from pluto to saturn, after a few weeks work you have powerful chars again, its not that bad.
right.... and if everyone does that pluto will die even more then now

he(vett) go good point, instead of crying and posting on forums go do somthing about it. If served dead and you want more ppl go to the server thats not dead, "getting great on evry server" wtf is that about they exactly the same more ppl tho and more char slots, all advantages as i c it ....
ncf once had an auto poker on pluto when nda had just merged with dominion, apparently the gms didn't take too kindly to it,he got pwned and he poked no more :)...

But when there is a low server population, the 'gimped' character does not have to wait around for hours on end to find someone to do their poking/researching/driving/ hacking etc. So which character is really gimped? I know with my main character I can drive, poke and hack- I also admit that it performs poorly in PvP compared to specialised characters. But I still have fun and when I do inevitably die- as soon as synaptic impairment is over, I'm up and running at top efficiency. When the other character dies it's back to waiting for hours.
So is the low server count the problem? Or specialisation vs the need to be the best?

It's deffenatly not server pop problem heh, I left pluto long time ago so if i'd still be playing i'd prolly have chars that ress/cst and drive /poke, it's just auto poke idea seems so apealing that i'd realy like to c it implemented... :D
But it's true as i olways said "want somthing go get it" (lom to poke cst ect..)

Wasn't there someone on Pluto who did auto-poke a while back? He came to the forums asking whether he should continue or not and got flamed for doing it.
Well you can DM me, I'm online off and on thru-out the day every day I poke tl 115 for all those with MC5's

Report them. Macros = Hell.
If ppl start accepting macros, the end is near. As soon as you see a "Hmm, maybe that Pluto Autopoker mighe be a viable idea!", ppl from all servers will start crying for the same.

dont if it works like "whoa pluto only has 20 people on lets throw the auto poker chap on"...but about macros yea get rid of them however tape on the mouse button i wouldnt class on a macro

To simplify it: As soon as ppl hear about the "autopoker" on pluto theyre gonna scream for one on their server. Cause its just so damn hard to find a tl 115 poker and shit. o_O

Yea, I see no logic to any arguement agaisnt it.
People who are saying "well that will kill that class"... well its kinda hard to kill something that is already dead. Pluto pokers may be rare because why would someone sit in plaza 1 for a couple hours spamming "Poking TL 120 Tips Appreciated" with no one there to listen, or only 20 people on the entire server.
And the 20 people that are on pluto are probably leveling or hunting.

Peak times it hits about 70, 30-50 is usual, <20 not uncommon. It's a real shame, but there's nothing KK can really do about it until DoY. An auto-poker isn't going to make any difference to anything; no noob is going to look at a 1 slot server with 15 people on it when Saturn is 4 slots with 200+.
DoY will sort it :)
I hope KK make pluto a little more distinctive with the DoY release, so more noobies feel like giving it a try.
I think MrChumble has it right with the fact pluto is hibernating I know alot who are simply now waiting for DoY.
People who say just leave pluto well that doesn't help us who have called it home since we started playing, pluto was a whole different server to saturn.
However certain clans made it no longer fun to do anything so people left and now you have the sitaution that is on pluto now...
I would love to play but without the guys I played with it just aint the same.

Not entirely true...
Due to my kamikaze chip, I can both hack (over TL 130 self-buffed) and implant 115, but my combat skills aren't hurt in the slightest.
I still cap aiming on all the weapons I use (Healing Light, FirstLove, Silent Hunter) and the ranges are more than enough that the clipping plane limits them much sooner than it states for range...so how would more weapon lore help?
As for PSI Use, I cap all my psi modules for freq, other than spy boost 1, which is 51/min instead of 52/min...so more PSI use wouldn't make much of a difference (nothing noticeable anyway...)
So how could I make myself more combat worthy in INT?
P.S. Yes, I know that it's mainly due to the kami, but even a non-kami'd user can have high hack or implant without losing any combat skill/stats...
