Well, to make it short to those not knowing.

then the Danish crown prince is marrying some tasmanian chick.

Itīs all over Denmark, it just wasnīt on this forum..

well now it is..


So just wanna know what do you guys think ?


Will she make a good princess/queen whatever she will be titled ?

Opps I click no! :( I meant to say yes.. I dont know much about yoru culture but if she knows enough about it than I suppose she would.. Not sure if it is right for an "outsider" to join someones royal family though.. :)

I think she does, she learned to speak danish real fast dont you think? :)

yes she did, but so did Alexandra..

personally I would rather see Joachim and Alexandra on the Throne.


Frederik is too wild of spirit..

(met him once, heīs got a taste for speed)

I have a hard time imagining him settling down.

Naimex I am quite interesting in somthing if you dont mind answering my question.. does the Danish royal family have any political power?? sorry just a curious question.. :)

No real power, they are mostly Public Relations.



Our government handles everything, and then her royal majesty the Queen can state her points of view with some influence.

She still has to sign the agreements made (IIRC)

Bah, you call that a scandal? Your weak Danish scandals are naught compared to the Dutch ones! (Which are, in turn, naught compared to the British ones, crazy Brits... :p)

At least our royal family has all the funkiness to marry daughters of known war criminals, or having married a German just after the 2nd world war. :p

Anyway, to get back no topic...

I actually can't see any problems with it, sure she's not of royal blood, but to be honest, that really does not matter much. What matters is that she and Frederik love one another, which should in turn make them a good King and Queen.
