I noticed that someone posted a list of NC abbreviations... and I thought someone should post a list of NC terms and what they **really** mean. rather than hijack his topic off topic, I decided to post here
what NC abbreviations *really* mean:
Tradeskill abbreviations:
WTB/WTT: just so you all know, I'm going to spam the trade channel for a few hours now.
Cons: someone who has nothing better to do with their time than click and drag.
Res: folks that are usually looking for a constructor. go through more Lube than a porn studio on a hot day.
Imp/poker: your local neighborhood PPU trying to make a few bucks. often surrounded by hoards of kneeling people, leading to something of a messiah complex. Tip well if you ever want to be able to use anything better than a basic footimplant and a zerk 1.
People:
PE: Private Eye, hard to identify, because most of them think they are tanks, PPUs, spies or something else entirely.
newb: someone less than rank xx/50, in the eyes of some players, alternatively, someone you can rip off easily.
PK: RUN!!!
Things:
CS: what any self-respecting tank uses to the exclusion of all else.
DB: you know how you're fighting in the Chaos caves, and all of a sudden you see a bunch of blue, then you die... often found in the hands of a highly experianced and irresponsible Tank.
HL: you know how sometimes you're running along, no one on local, then you die... see also: Dizzy/dis/dissy
PN: those funny looking flying thingys that you rarely see...
