View Full Version : Dafire, think ya need to update the ftp.

Theres 136-146.exe, 147-156.exe, 157-166.exe, and 167-172.exe; but there are no packs after that. I think dafire or whoever is in control of the ftp to make em because downlaoding patchs 173-197 one by one is quite annoying.

And it is a very bad way to get new players to the game by making them download alot of patches, and why not go back and fix that 163 patch or whatever that makes u get on ftp and download the launcher because most new people will be like wtf? and will just take the game back to the store because its annoying to try to patch it, or just letting it sit on their desktop because its not worth the gas to take back a game that only costed about 5$.

also i dont like the new ftp layout. i liked being able to select patches i wanted to download all in one thing instead of clicking on them all.

On another Patch related note.
Do we have to keep the patches in our "patch" folder once the game has been patched?
Or is backup and delete fine?

Or is backup and delete fine?you dont have to keep them their. i actually keep them on a seperate, back-up, hd incase i need to use them again. but i havent updated it for a while, which is what im doing now.

Yea good shit, is going to help with hard - drive space, especially with 2 installs of NC. And the fact i already have them backed up, i dont need 3 copies.

why would u need them? they are patches not files that are accessed while playing ;P
