This site claims to sell webcams for $1.00 USD for signing up through their
partner site. Now I have to protest, we've all seen Get Free <insert here>
before no doubt but this seems to be the real deal. :wtf:
I remember back then web cameras were costing a fortune to have, it's crazy
that companies can sell them like hotcakes for the price of a child's GI joe
plastic figerine.
Anyway, I don't know what will happen, maybe I'll get the camera, maybe it's
bullocks, but all I paid was $1 and I could use a webcam for my new laptop :p
Tell me if anyone has any info about this site and claims or has gotten one,
I'm curious to know what will happen to that $1 I gave up :confused:
note: i don't think this is advertisement, if it is sorry.. clearly not my intentions

Yeah I'm really not a webcam fan to be honest, I figure I could use the notebook
webcam though for family and friends for "on the go" occasions, i don't know.
I remember software for the webcam that lets u hit a virtual beach ball by
moving your hands in the camera... ^__^ fun but useless.

anyway, i never use webcams, i work in the audiovisual and photography business and i hate it to be on a picture, movie or webcam or sumthing :)
so i wouldnt buy one anyways :P
but still suspisciously cheap :)

Every stillshot or movie clip or live webcam cast thingy you do will have an ad banner imprinted on it at hardware level ranging from porn (straight, gay, tranny, nancy, teed, and so on...) to R/C cars that can outrun a viper/riced civic/pinto/dead gerbil...
Also you have to donate blood/sperm/thong underpants every 30 days otherwise you will be charged the cost of a 97 used ford windstar van that will be used to for "forced collection" on you, as well as $14.97 for the cost of fast-food drivethru... I keep mine firmly pointed up at the ceiling, and, a tip for you, if you clean the lense bit, image quality improves *tried and tested* :lol: :lol:

Ok.. FedEx says it's due to arrive in 3 days at six pm. That means I'm really
getting this thing, now i'm going back to iFriends.net to cancel my account just
incase they charge it later or something.
So not bad, lost a buck and gained a decent notebook webcam soon to arrive,
it was worth degrading my self to sign up at their partner site imo... I still feel
violated though.

When ever i sign up to something that i prefer not to give out my email address, i give them my "spam" email address @ hotmail. Junk mail filter is set to it's highest. I don't get any emails on that one. Anyother emails i want, i get sent to my private email :)
I did something like that DF, i have total control over my email addy, so set up a spam@dgwebb.force9.co.uk which goes straight into a folder which is never read. Just waitin for my ISP to upgrade its spam filters to make my life anti spam! Though must admit, them penis enlargers look tempting :angel:

Got my mini notebook camera just now, a day earlier than fedex said they'd
come. Friggen A, I can't believe they actually sent me it... no doubt.
It works great, it seems to complete my laptop now, i already have everything
else (docking station, 20gig portable hdd etc) and now my webcam, it sticks
to the side of the laptops lcd screen.
Decent quality, definately will use it for netmeeting application projects.
Yup, still only a $1 charge to my account. I was told I could call the website
that charged me a dollar and get a refund but i'm too antisocial to do that to
get a buck back, plus this is way too cool to care.. a good investment!
If anyone else gets theirs, report back.. i'm the first i guess.
