[OT] anyone good with graphics

hey everyone out there. First of let me say sorry asking for your help because i know some people dont like ignorent peeps like me that dont know how to use a graphics programe but i really need something descent for my college wisual basic project.

what i need is someone to make me an UBER background for my basic programe layout. so far i have this :

which you can see is complete crap.
now you understand how bad i am at this stuff and why i need help. Unfortunatly i have no creative ability at this sort of thing.

Anyway when the prgrame is running it looks like this so far

so you can kinda get the jist of what the layout is like.

If anyone is serious at making one dont worry if its bigger than the current one or if the text boxes wont fit. i will almost take anything, so long as its better than my poo.

When i get home (and after a nap) i will see what i can whip out for you in photoshop. Anything you want in it besides "Qmaster"? Any kind of a color sceme that your going for? Also what kind of a file format/size are you looking for? I've never used visual basic so i dont know what formats it will load.

i was going to, however i have been told i will get downmarked for doing so. hence why im desparate. my coding is rubbish and doesn't work so this is probs going to be my only life saver

jpeg would be just fine mate. as for schemes, it is meant to be a quiz game that you would get in a pub ??? so meh... its called quizmaster and im so very tired :o

both are a hell of a load better than mine. the second is good but i would change the colour scheme if i were to use it and the first is also quite uber. but it doesnt need the version number.

the boxes would be text fields in vb so you cna sort the colours of them out same with the buttons

im at college just now and my .exe i made was with visual basic 6. my college uses .net so i cant change it :(


is it possible for me to send you the file and see if you can compile it for me in .net or visual basic 6

if you have the .vbs files etc the source files then i can compile it into vb6 if you like with the new layout etc.

would only take like 2 mins or so
