Mine were awfull, spend an hour last night re-connecting the wires and cables inside my comp, and here are the results :

Wanna explain why you have 3x pci fans? With all that stuff in there.... Doesn't make any sense. And all those fans anyway, mindless. Just buy a good case and you'll get better airflow with 4 case fans (or 2 if you can fit 120mm versions innit).

cuz the 7 harddrives thats in there, produce so much heat, that I burn my hands on the harddrives...

so I´m doing it to keep temperature low..


if I pull them out my "system" temperature will go from 27 - 42

(I know cuz my system temp went from 42 to 27 when I put them in there.)

(i have few papsts in my case and the loudest is the freekin gfxcards fan)

used to it..


but when I shut it off, it´s like shutting down a turbine engine O_o

well, the pci fans are adjustable through slider on the back of the case, to how much power they give, and the power supply has a thing you can turn up and down, to decrease or increase fan speed.

slightly less tidy in some areas and slightly more in other atm, but i cba taking a pic. it hasnt changed that much 0_o

just for interest the case is an antect super lanboy and i can reccomend one, 2x120mm fans one front one rear and its very quiet and gives superb airflow through the case. plus you can mount Black ice radiators nice and neatly (except for the big screws =/ ) in it and the hard drive mounts are nifty as well :)

you need 4-6 tops, even that would give you over a Tb of storage and thats a massive amount of pr0n for several people, let alone one 0_o. 7 is just overkill lol. unless they are all low capacity drives, in which case, buy some larger drives :confused:

edit: 2x10k wd sata raptors 76gb each raid 0 gives you roughly 150gb main drive, then 4 250gb drives. how would you ever fill that much space with pron lol 0_0

I have one fan on my PSU (ultra quiet job, cost me loads) and one on the radeon (until the warranty expires anyway). Everything else is water cooled :D

water cooling is the way forward tbh. its a lot quieter and more efficient

I think water cooling is cool, but I´m too scared that it´ll leak to even want it near my computer..

8 gig
15 gig
40 gig
100 gig
120 gig
200 gig

Then you decide whether its a lot or not..

cash mate..


spent 270 € on lighting, power supply and fans a few weeks ago..

and my holiday-payment hasn´t come yet.

but if I ever was to do anything, it would be to get harddrives big enough for me to get to 3 harddrives, and the cd drive. so I could pull the expansion card out.

but it´s too pricy, and I don´t have anyone to sell the other harddrives too.
