How can you equate computer equipment with sexy? /me imagines your porn collection consists of 3D Mark 2004, AquaMark 3, and trailers for games run for NVidia :p

I wouldn't recommend asking opinions of people on a community like this, because most people will just yell something without giving any arguments.

I suggest you check out some review sites and see for yourself which card is best. Then you can bring in your budget and pick the one which is best for you.

Maarten is correct. I chose the XFX GeForce FX5900XT for 3 reasons.

(1) Price is £150 (two are on auction at Ebay atm for about $120 or something)
(2) Awarded silver rating by PC Extreme
(3) PC Zone's Editors Choice

Have you seen the Dawn and Dusk previews for the nVidia cards? Oh my dear god. They are who i want to be when i grow up.

Why go spend $180 or whatever on a shit gfx card like that when the next-gen cards are out this month and cards such as the 9800XT will drop to around your price range which is much better than a 5900. :wtf:

The 5900XT is a bag of old pants.

Radeon add XT to their best cards.

nVidia add XT to thier budget cards.

Tell him to save an extra $20 and buy a 9800pro or save a bit more and buy a 5900 that can be bios flashed to 5950.

I have I'm curious to see how the X800 XT compares to the 6800 Ultra some of the tech websites are already proclaiming the 6800 the winner which is a bit presumptous.

Also the 6800 needs two power connecters hooked up to it which I think is mad.
