Biggest I have intalled and biggest Iv'e seen: Eve-Online.
Its damn 10 gigs ;P
Biggest I've had was 6 GB... With a game that started out at around 200 MB. I was rather into modding it, and it slowly yet surely accumulated size.

H'mmm Lineage 2 which I've just downloaded (1 gig +).
It requires 4 gig install when it's all unpacked and patches downloaded.
I remember when I thought Quake II was HUGE!
It was 400 megabytes, on my 2GB hardisk. I remember thinking WOW! THATS 1/4!
mines prolly UT2k4 @around 5 gigs

Its Metal Gear Solid Substance on Full Install. About 7Gigs i think.
UT2k3 with 3Gb followed by neverwinther nights 2 Gb
neocron with 3 gb, sacred(cool game :p) with 1gb

Mines ut2004 at 5.40GB, but im sure that will be at least double in one year after the ammount of mods/maps/other stuff comes out for it. I had ut2003 installed at base about 3gb and that was over 6gb by the time i downloaded quite a few things for it :eek:
The biggest game ive actually got is MGS2 on pc....7gb of disc :eek: but they messed the controls up so much that its just another 'game for the box', why couldnt they just rob the splinter cell pc controls... :(

Ganguro Girl is fun, but it still doesn't beat the Love Hina Dating Sim.
Let's have a looky at my drive...
BF1942 is 3.15 GB, but that's with DC, EoD and WL2042 installed as well.
Operation Flashpoint is 1.5 GB with both addon packs and lots of mods.
Neocron is 1.48
Space Colony is 830Mb
Tribes 2 is 724Mb
Other bloaters I've had in the past include:
Planetside (3gig!!!)
MS Flight Sim (a full install is about 1.8gig, and some plane addons can be 50mb each)
MS Train Sim (2 gig full install, and addon routes 500mb each!)
TRS2004 (about 2.5 gig)
NFS: High Stakes (about 750mb with all the cool custom cars I had)
Tropico (a lot more than it looks... about 500mb I think)
Did I mention I only have a 20gig drive?

UT is kind of an exception because you could pretty much allocate any amount of disk space to it...
At any rate, I think FFXI is my biggest hog O_o And it's just sitting there...without me playing the game or paying for the accounts...gotta recover them soon before my discs break :p

dunno why, and im not lookin at folder size, im look at the uninstall programs thing in windows, sorted by size to delete some stuff and seen that eve was 10gb and i was like ;O WTF?!?
It's probably telling porkies. Mine is 3Gb in there and in fact. That bit of code was probably written by the people that write the progress-bars.
I seem to remember it claiming it needed 4Gb when I installed it but that's probably including ass-loads of saves, temp files and so on.

How does Eve equate to 10 gigs when it was a 650 meg download? and even installed never broke a gig on my machine. O_o Anyways, UT2k4 is coming in at 5.45 gigs right now. I think NWN comes in at 2.85 gigs. UO comes at 1.05 gigs. All of Camelot installed runs close to 3 gig or so (dunno why I got it installed). Diablo 2 is 1.72 gigs. And Neocron comes in at 1.47 gigs.

i just went and looked to see whats so big, i got about 7.5gb of logs >.< and around 2gb of cache
Heh, I probably have a gigabyte or so of logs scattered around my hd...

IMHO they should start shipping games on DVDs. Some of my friends have really poor shitty computers and all have a DVD drive. After i swapped the disc for the FIFTH time installing UT2k4 i almost lost the will to live. :o :rolleyes:

How did I get that much doom stuff? YEARS and YEARS of wads and mods. Considering that the biggest wad I have is about 80 megs, thats a LOT of gameplay. :D
Oh yeah, and I should point out that all of that's in a single dir. :D Takes a little while to dir it in dos. ^_^
