i know you would be suprised to recieve this mail, but
i would start by introducing my self i am kabuta bernard
a member of charles tailors gorvernment, the
ousted president of liberia, my purpose of writing
this mail is to seek your asistance in retrieving my
fund the sum of thirteen million five hundred thousand
dollars($13,500000.00) which is corently with a
security company in europe, i managed to escape out of
liberia with this fund and i cannot retrieve it myself
because of my status right now.
well i need your assistance to claim this fund, if you
are willing to assist me kindly notify me via this
email adress and i will instruct you on the proceedure
that will enable us retrieve the fund and we will also
discuse your percentage for the assistance.

I've seen way too many of those things, I can't believe anyone'd reply to them though.

I mean really, if a total stranger accosted me on the street saying "OMG, I GOTSES THE MANY MONEEZ FOR U!!!!!!!1111!! LOL!", I'd probably try and get the heck away from him/her/it because him/her/it's probably some kind of dangerous psychopath, if listening to their drivel's anything to judge them by.

However, if someone accosted me saying "I have this great deal for you, you just need to give me your bank account number", I'd just say "Yeah, and I've got a bridge for sale, want it?".

Reason ppl fall for them is cos they're 1 - stupid beyond measure, 2 - greedy beyond measure, 3 - gullible and ignorant beyond measure.

The craziest thing about it all is with the people who got conned by Nigerian scammers who said they wanted help moving illegally obtained government money out of Nigeria.
When it turned out to be a scam and they lost money they tried to sue the Nigerian government :rolleyes:

At times it bewilders me some of the people I share this planet with.

btw, these scammers give Nigerians a bad name. The nicest girl I ever knew at school was from Nigeria :)
