Melee Tank Setup

I was wondering if anyone has a good setup for melee tank against WB's. Want to make one for hunting rares. Thanks in advance.

WB do xray and energy damage, I'm sure you can work out a good setup for resisting these types with duranium 4 armour/xray bones in combination with speccing your resists. Don't forget resists cap at 114 and total protection is maxed out at 200 resist/armour combined. make sure you have a good heal, it is perfectly possible to get close to capping tl3 heal as a melee tank by getting the psi energy needed from psi use (in INT) and putting all PSI points (aside from the small amount of mst you need) into PPU.

Don't see why you want him just to hunt WB though, you can do this proficiently and own in pvp too :D

if you can't kill a WB and heal up fast with that then you're worse than me... :p (I use almost this on my mellee tank)

Firemobs are lot better to hunt as a melee tank imo.
Droprate is the same, but you dont need any hack so you'll be a fast healer.
Firemobs allso spawn minions and stuff, wich results in neat XP.

If you're after rares or xp you'd be better off speccing enough heavy combat to cap the damage on the reveler (you'll still easily overcap the devils grace) then take the reveler out hunting. Until the ludicrous DoY spawn squeezed out all the fire mobs it was perfectly possible to get 8-12 mil str exp and 50+ rares in a casual afternoons hunting :)
Even with the DoYs there are some good sectors for fire mob huntage. It does help if the DoYs don't shoot you on sight though.

the reason for the resist force being so high is because i set it before buffs... it was just right before the basic 1... change it if you want but tbh its not needed in mellee or transport... so you'll have best resist frc unbuffed ;)
