Hot damn, been looking for this for ages.

1337 (Leet) Definition (http://www.wordiq.com/definition/Leet.html)

I never knew this:

Note that in true leet, the following are considered improper.

"kewl" or "ku" or "ql" for "cool"
"r" for "are", "u" for "you", "c" for "see" (giving the common "see you")
"2" for "to" or "too", "4" for "for" (but note "4" can also represent an "A")
"8" for "-ate", as "l8r" for "later"
"ne" for "any"

How accurate is this definition? How much of it do you use? I think its great how the computer world has it's own language :D

I spell things correctly.

To do otherwise, especially intentionally, is to me a sign of an inferior intellect, lacking in the intelligence or attention span to properly formulate written thoughts.

In other words, this:

even tho realtek has never delted charcter MJS posted saying when BDOy is release anyaccount over 3 mouth old will be delted, just a heads up if u wanted to keep ur characters u might want to renew like a week or so prior makes you look like a retard, or a twelve year old with ADHD.

Your choice.

leet is just an internet fad now.

Eventually everyone will be sick of it, and it will be gone.

ROFL...Nice one, Hivemind. You certainly hit the nail on the head.

Except for that text you quoted. I cant seem to figure out whether thats leet-speak, or a German trying to get his point across. :D

Nail on the headthere ;) America re spelt alot of English back when they declared themselves their own people, hence colour -color and honour to honor

look at this link for more detail http://www.musicalenglishlessons.com/spelling-diffs.htm

Why did the US do this? because they wanted to make english spelling easier! Is this not exactly what internet users are doing with leet talk? I agree in wording your sentances to make sense is important, but the internet communiy is by far the biggest step from mankind towards multiracial peace so why not use our own language as we don't all speak English fully anyway.

The text I quoted is from someone who's just lazy and in a hurry. He can type and spell better when he slows down, but it rarely happens. It's AOLish at its finest. http://neocron.jafc.de/images/smilies/old/rolleyes.gif
