I was wondering how everoyone felt about mc vs hc.

Wut has better damage and wut is betetr for pvp pls post your opinions and reasons why u chose that opinion.

i use LLB 1 without drugs on my HC Tank :)

can do pretty good vs a DG MC Tank.


If you drug up, you can use at least Energy Soulblade on a HC tank with no skilled MC...


EDIT : HC tank with mc weapon almost same as mc tank with mc weapon in dmg..

ut hc tank with hc weapon vs mc tank with mc weapon = mc dead before hc loses quarter health.

you need skill to be good at H-C casue you need to practise aim and stuff ...but when you go meele its only point and klick noobe funn,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

what penalties ?

zerk 3 and bq arm.

thats zerk 3 instead of Herc and BQ arm instead of Antigamma arm..

its not exactly going to do a world of difference.....

anything above 180 mc at current mc weapons standing is wasted...

pure mc tank would skill everything else until reaching 114 force resist


a hybrid would go for some 190-200 hc with hc pa 3 and then put rest in mc

Melee is much more deadly then HC (Given the right surroundings)

1 on 1 its even between HC and MC Tanks, If the MC Tanks smart and can runcast etc and dodge well, theyll beat the HC Tank, If the HC Tank has a unbreakable aim, the MC Tank is toast.

HOWEVER

In a 5 on 1 situation, the HC Tank will die, maybe tank 1 with him but die to his speed hit etc he's a sitting duck...

If its a melee tank vs 5, hell 10, the melee tank's got the advantage IMO, His speed to move in and out of everyone, them breaking their aim's on eachother and even hitting eachother.

I would however say that melee IS the better of the 2, the most effective, however the damage for HC is better, and HC gets AOE.

On my melee tank I expect to win every time. When I was HC I'd just run from 3 APU's heh...

but yea... go HC, I dont want everyone coming melee ;)

Actually, I kinda prefer Agility doing most of the melee work ;)

its all theoretical..

there are people :

bad at pvp
alright at pvp
good at pvp
and godlike at pvp


I would classify myself at good, not to brag... but as a fact..


and if i play against anyone except the godlike group, I would think my aim is somewhat unbreakable.



but yes.. I have seen MC tanks take down HC tanks 1on1

but I have also seen half capped mc tanks take down full cap mc tanks.



ive played pure mc tank, pure hc tank, and hc/mc hybrid tank.

and tbh..

I like the HC tank far the most, but it just adds to the fun of being able to use a LLB 1 @ 135 % dmg without drugs, and without a single point skilled in mc.

ok i not been on my tank for a while, saying that i use 2 friends acts 1 HC and 1 MC

i use teh HC for op wars

and MC for ganking



HC is good against buffed people andwhen buffed

MC is good solo


if u want best damage, and your not too hot with aiming go M-C

If you think ur the dogs bolloxs with aiming go HC, but you will only excell with HC when buffed, where as MC when buffed (oponant) = loss of dmg.


So the question is what do u want the tank for?

other major differences between melee and HC is mc doesnt needa hrc, has beter run speed, better force/pierce reist. more transport . And mc is not just point and click thanks to lag between client and server it not easy to connect with all your swings.

personaly i perfer melee 120/120 run speed is so dam nice
