Okideh..now i have a kick arse computer, but i wanna know what programs are good for recording and editing.

(Plz dont mention FRAPS, i beg of thee:rolleyes: )

Oh and plz post WHY they are good if you would be so kind.

Adobe Premier, they dont get better than that. Unless you wanna shell out more than $3000, and have a Mac.

Might sound weird, but the ATI codec with the VI cards are rather good. XVID is better than DIVX, but you need the right one.

I-movie.

And just a DV tape, then import it onto the mac with a fire wire and the appropriate tape players.

Fucking stupidly easy program to use, and is an industry used one.

Well...just fir the info i have:
2.8 Ghz P4
Gforce FX 5900
1Gb dual DDR-400 RAM
And a butt load of disk space.

Hopefully next month ill buy another 17" monitor and a 17" Television and use 3 screens for video editing and for ultimate gaming :D
