its happened before, think the gfx card has been overheating or something. tho the last time i got it just in time and there wasnt any dmg. sometimes if i had it on for about 48 hours and then turned it off and back on (not a reset) the picture on the screen would go fucky till it all cooled down. sometimes could take about a week tho o_O so i just kept it on for about a month lol and this happened

you should think about getting some cooling things in your comp.

I myself am NOT using watercooling, but I would if I wasn´t shit scared of it leaking onto everything.

However I got :

CPU Cooler 1.1 Ghz above actual CPU speed (3.5 cooloer on a 2.4 p4)
I got 3x 80mm case fans

and 2x 80mm PowerSupply fans

(out of space in cabinet otherwise I would have put in HDD fans and changed cooler on gfx card)

when I first got it, it was running at about 1 degree celcius

but as the white cooling gel gets old on the cpu it doesnt help much so its at 30-40 degrees constant now, but i cba to pull off cpu just to put new stuff on it..

never had anything burn, overheat or anything.

Yea im thinking about going for water cooling when i get cash for my next comp should be sweet, only prob i have is drilling holes into the mother board that freaks me out.

Oopsie i slipped and put a hole the size of my fist thru it :p

Im managing 34 degrees C with just my CPU fan, Northbridge fan and GFX xard fan going. But then again I have taken the sides off my case (for easy access) so I have slightly better ventilation, but more dust 0_o
