I have had an account since the start of neocron.
How does this expansion work?

Is Doy free to download and install but if you'd like to upgrade your charackters from the original neocron u have to pay 29 EUR?

they are still trying to figure out about the whole download thing.

and the 30 € for the upgrade of accounts is for 4 of your OWN accounts so they can use DoY

Whether or not if you can play without DoY.. I dont know, but I believe you can, just gonna miss out on a few things then.

And IIUC then the upgrade option is 30 € to upgrade your accounts, and then the 10 € discount is the first month of DoY for free or something like that.

No. If you want to use the advanced features of DoY, you will have to buy the upgrade to your account.

If you download it (if this is available), you still have to pay for the upgrade.

I dont get it. The pre-order page lists both options with shipping. I wish to only upgrade my accounts, and download DoY off the site itself, since it'll take awhile for it to ship to my region.

How do i go about doing this?

its not shure if a D/L is available on the release of NC:BDOY

for now only the BOX is possible to order

Its costs 20 euros to upgrade you nc which is roughly £13 and $24 (US) ...

And everyone remember... at least with the old publisher, the download version of Neocron came out MUCH later than the box one.

Current players are going to get the shaft...

I paid $40 for the game already, now I have to pay $37 to upgrade it...
