whenever i click on the skillmanager icon i get the following...

Class not registered.
You need the following file to be installed on your machine. MSSTDFMT.DLL.

if someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated

Search Google for the file and you get this:

File goes to windows\system32\ on 2000/XP

ok i downloaded it and put the file in the system32 folder...still not working...

cmon someone help me

k i'm going to bed now...hopefully when i wake up in 5 hours someone will have replied with an answer...i'm surely not the only person with this problem

btw sorry for the double post...i just dont want my thread going bye bye :D

Go Start->Run and type:

regsvr32 "MSSTDFMT.dll"

If it gives you an error post it here and someone might be able to help you again

Edit: Saying that however, installing the skillmanager properly shouldn't give you a problem so perhaps a proper re-install might also help you

Place (copy) the DLL in the same dir as the Skillmanager .EXE...

And if that doesnt help (prolly wont), you might have to register the dll: start -> run -> regsrv32 MSSTDFMT.DLL

But... i dont know.. .just guessing.. ;)

then don't rely on the skillmanager :angel: :angel:

what u need to do is get the original skillmanager by smoker and install that as the missing dll file is bundled with the install and then u can use zoneseek's updated skill manager

you only got the upgraded .exe .... ncnetwork or whoever has soem reallllly out dated links now ... just search these forums for smokers skillmanager and downlaod the file with a date in it.

1) you have to register the dll (see above)
2) dont copy your nc installation from another disk/computer - do a new install so some registry entries will be set.
( i renamed my current installation c:\neocron-old, installed to c:\neocron and moved that away, renamed neocron-old to neocron )


that sorted out some problems i had with some programs.

Installing NLpro will also set the NC registry settings.... :D

OMG.. IT's THA NC-FIX-A-DIX TOOL! :D

the skillmanager will get a new version in some weeks ;)

i'm currently do a complete rework of it in .NET [ok... it will need .net framework... but nothing else wich should solve most problems]


the project got 6300 lines right now, and no end in sight ;)


currently it only calculates the skills, loads the contet like imps, and SAVES the state... [yeah... u have readed right... it SAVES the state ;)]

all other features will follow in the next few days, and i think after a small "betatest" i can give it out for the public

btw... how about a petition for that i can get the original fomulas for the calculation i need? if i ask KK they wouldnd give anything to me, cause they hate meh ^^

this would help very much and decreases the releasedate ;)
