im just downloading them now, will report back after i get some sleep.

Woah, some really cool features added, you can set up custom OpenGL/D3D settings for individual programs now.

nVeiw menu has been expanded too

yet to test perfromance.

my friend just installed the omega drivers for nvidia and got a 30-60 FPS increase in planetside on his GF4 ti 4600

if i was you id go with the omega ones:p

I downloaded them myself the day I bought Battlefield: Vietnam, and that was on 16th.

Yeah, I picked up the 56.64 drivers last week, too.

BTW, they were released on March 15. That's last week as far as I'm concerned. :p:D

Anyway, I haven't seen any performance difference on my FX5600 non-Ultra in Neocron, which is the only game that really matters to me, since using these new drivers.

The nVIDIA control panel looks a helluva lot cooler, though, IMO.

the omega drivers are out of date, once the ones based on the Forceware drivers are release i'll be switching

They generally delay a few days before actually making a given build available.

A couple of times now I've downloaded new versions from the official site on day of release, and the build date was up to a week earlier, so it's not a totally reliable to guide as to when they hit the download server.

Sooo, does this fix the problems that my 5700 Ultra has with neocron, when ever i play neocron wit hthis card, all the grapgincs get screwed up about 5 minutes playing the game, lots of triangles and it has like a red flare affet, making the game totaly unplayable.:(



ohhh, btw, i have reinstaled NC after i installed the card, still no dice.....

but will the new drivers fix the above poblem??

it's a dude who makes tweaked drivers, he got his website at http://www.omegacorner.com/ , they're pretty good ;)
