I'm about 10 miles from you and they are indeed mad.
I was meant to be building a table in the garden today but I'm thinking "Sod that". It is sunny though and actually quite pleasant if you ignore the horizontal trees.

If there was snow here it'd be a full scale blizzard with some fooken large drifts
Oh crap!!!
I just realised it's Mother's Day tomorrow and I have to go out to buy something.
I think I'll fill my pockets with pennies just in case.
Yup.. here in the North West too.
I walked to work and I was blown all over the place - I couldn't even walk straight. Bet all the motorists were all giggling as I battled against the wind.. and then to top it all off I get hit by a face full of sand.
Grrr.
It's bloody March too. Something is horribly, horribly wrong.
Eddie
its so windy here down in romford essex that i saw a pigeon take 20 seconds trying to land on a branch lol
I almost died at Grantham station earlier, the winds almost catapulted my G/F's birthday present on to the tracks, and I, being the fool I am, chased after it and nearly got hurled into a passing train.

"Global Warming" is a load of tree-hugging, poncho-wearing, lentil-eating, pikey bullshit. Anyone that really believes in that crap needs to be weeded out the gene-pool ASAP.
bet they also believe Dihydrogen Monoxide is really bad for you too...
Windy here in derby.. nearly dropped ma feckin PC running it into ma house cumin back from my m8s
now that would of been awful..:(

Went to Loughborough and Leister (sp?), very very windy, apparently someone was killed by falling debris a while after I left. O_O
