Well I am bored so am speculating what the new WOC skills will do.

Lets see who's guess turn out correct. Post what ya think the skills will give.

I'm pretty certain theres one (or more )WOC-Skill per each of the 5 attributes, and there are 3 levels in each WOC. I think maybe there will be a choice out of 2 or 3 possible WOCs in each.

So heres my predictions:

WOC : STR - > choice 1 : Heavy weapon wielding

rank1 = 50% less runspeed loss for wielding heavy wepons
rank2 = 75% less lost
rank3 = Zero runspeed lost

STR - > choice 2 : Parashock resist

rank1 = 50% less shock
rank2 = 75% less shock
rank3 = 90% less shock

WOC : Dex - > choice 1 : Stealth duration

rank1 = 50% more duration
rank2 = 100% more
rank3 = 200% more

Dex -> choice 2 : Weapon reload

rank1 = 25% faster
rank2 = 50% faster
rank3 = 75% faster

WOC : Int - > choice 1 : Construction Cap

rank1 = cap raised by 4%
rank2 = cap raised by 7%
rank3 = cap raised by 10%

Int - > choice 2 : Research speed

rank1 = speed increase 15%
rank2 = speed increase 25%
rank3 = speed increase 50%

WOC : Con -> choice 1: Parashock resist

rank1 = 25% less shock
rank2 = 50% less shock
rank3 = 75% less shock

Con - > choice 2: Pierce/Force resist

rank1 = 5% less damage (pierce/force)
rank2 = 10% less damage
rank3 = 20% less damage

Con - > choice 3 : Elemental resist

rank1 = 5% less damage (fire/xray/nrg)
rank2 = 10% less damage
rank3 = 20% less damage

WOC : Psi - > choice 1: mana reduction

rank1 = 5% less mana cost
rank2 = 10% less mana cost
rank3 = 20% less mana cost

Psi - > choice 2 : rof increase

rank1 = 2% increase rof
rank2 = 5% increase rof
rank3 = 10% increase rof

Psi - > choice 3 : Resist DB

rank1 = 30% less db
rank2 = 50% less db
rank3 = 90% less db

Im thinking some stuff can overlap like how con will also get resist shock but not as uber as the str version will be etc.

Anyone else got any speculations?

I want a jump skill for over capped pe and spy dex :D

I'd give anything to be able to jump 15+ feet in the air 8|

But we don't know how much xp is needed? It might be a lot more than the normal lvls. WoC lvl 1 in PE dex could be the same xp as 90 dex would take.

or possibly the tank running at full pelt spitting round after round of hot plasma from his cursed soul while the poor Pe with there pop gun cant land a shot against the former snail paced tankzor

well tanks run fast even with their cannons out so it would be impossible to hit a tank who runs at full speed

was fighting 2 tanks in pp yesterday, easy to hit laying green plasma on there hides, but the damn pistol spy i couldnt hit(cant be bothered making an excuse atm :D ) the tanks were slow as hell on my screen.

the slasher pistol spy posed more of a threat than the two sluggish tanks

edit: nibbish ment spy not PE

I think most of you should look at DAoC and the RVR skills u earn through killing others.

U get points for killing people, more points if there above your level, obviously less if there easy kills.

When uve got enough points, you earn realm skills, which for a shadowblade (assasin) could be things like duel wielding, Dodger (harder to hit) Stealth run (when stealthed u run x2 as fast)

ETC ETC.

Neocrons will be very similar i suspect :lol:

or is it possible that the spy can run around at no gimpage with his FL that does quite nice damage, while a tank, a combat char, is gimped to hell and back by wielding his cannons? oh yeah, makes sense... uh... wait... it doesnt! :)

your arguement is flawed

pulling out a rifle does slow you down

a FL weighs MORE than a CS iirc (oh yeah, makes sense... uh... wait... it doesnt!)

yeah why do you think, because it doesnt slow the spy down like the cannon slows a tank down, so they had to introduce some penalty... (KK logic)

so i dont care if you change it around, so the CS weighs more, still doesnt change that tanks get bigger penalty than a spy with his gun out.

i think WoC will give u access to a whole new range of weapons with WoC req's on them and i also think all ur idea are completely stoopid and no chance of ever happening but hey each to their own (dream)

The Wisdom of Ceres (WoC) Skills can only be attained by capped players. E.g. If a tank has reached strength 100, he can continue to gain XP. To reach the first level of WoC-strength, he will not only have to gain a lot of XP, but also find a certain artifact, as well as an NPC that will train him. WoC skills will give you access to a diversity of powerful items like weapons and tools.

er guys if u look carefully it says powerfull items not powerful skills

Now that I've reread it a bit more carefully, it sounds like there will be a new set of skills:

WoC-strength
WoC-psi
etc

and new items that will require these skills. So new gun #1 will require WoC-strength = 1 and the new gun #2 will require WoC-strength = 2, just as the current guns require a certain amount of STR.

Hi,

I heard that in DOAC you get additional skills/items when you kill your enemies.
Maybe something similar will happen with DOY and the Ceres wisdom stuff.
