Crazy SL idea

I was thinking about soulight and what if it where removed then I thought no cos many people like me would just kill everyone. Then I came up with this idea Why not have -17 SL people Grep to a location for PKers. I shall call this The Bad place for now in the bad place there are high lvl mobs as well as other pkers and its a maze. The runner must find his/her way out or Die! this is punishment for killing people if they get out they will GR to there appy and soulight will be at -16. It should be hard to get out and some might like the idea of being sent to the bad place and fighting other pkers to hack there belts :)

outzone jail its not the same I wanna try and fight my way out not come out of aggies ass red running from copbots and having some n00b hack my belt. Well this game needs something cool added to it like a real prision or something

so you are thinking more in the lines of "Running man" with Arnold Schwarzenegger..


A criminal act can be repaid by completing a course with "persons" trying to stop/kill you. ?

Except the Neocron law states that all lawbreakers will be shot on sight, i.e. copbots are judge, jury and executioner all in one, so instead copbots should now escort -17 or below people to a place like a prison, except it's just a maze and the bad guys have a chance to get out? Sorry, but it sounds like something a bunch of retarded lawyers might think up, and it would never be implemented into a reasonable society, but then again, this is a game, so it might work. :)

I'm not sure I like it though. I agree that SL should be fixed, in that more advanced features should be added, and that people with 100 SL (saints effectively) should not be reduced to -10 for a murder, even though murder is a horrible thing.

How about making it so that you only go to this "Bad Place" if you attmept to GenRep either to teleport or when you die. Then a person can still leg it about NC, but any attmept to use a public service gets him caught and thrown into jail. Then make it so its viable to be red, remove the stupid belt crap that happens with negative sl.

If you die in this place you are transported back to the entrance to the jail and you have to navigate the maze again. Then make it so the exit GR is locked unless you can navigate through the maze, find some NPC and kill him and nick a key which unlocks the GR. There will be copbots around the place which will shoot to kill on site if you navigate the maze wrongly.

Next, the most igenious idea ever. Make it so with Hacknet in BDoy, the jail can be opened remotely from the outside. So a clan member can rescue a trapped friend in the jail by navigating through the hacknet and opening the GenRep. He can close the GR as soon as the guy is through to prevent enemies from getting out.

Finally, the only other way to get out is to wait out the soullight. As soon as you're soullight is minus 16+ you can get the hell out of jail.

Perhaps we can even make it so, with the release of DoY, the same fate befalls Anti-NC factions in NC, and Pro-NC factions in BDoY. Each one can have a jail. However, I would think due to the nature of DoY, you will only be sent to jail due to low soullight in Neocron. I dont think DoY will give a shit if its denziens are criminals, since TG will be anyway :D

What u think of the idea? I think the hacknet thing is uber.
