What's one of the first things every n00bie does when he/she starts playing NC for the first time?
Gets on the Subway...
Because of the changes to the Subway and the fact that you can no longer look around, it makes it very difficult for a new player to have the slightest clue where they are heading (especially as new players have no idea how to get into 3rd person).
My idea is very basic, but i dont think it needs elaboration, and would take very little coding.
Obviously, it wouldnt be done in MS Paint by someone with 0 imaging skills - this is just a basic version of the idea:

This changes after every stop, and the new player can very easily see exactly where he/she is headed ;)
