2 of my flatmates just came back from ireland, they got drunk on the plane and had to be helped off :) (aparently the altitude change / pressure in cabin makes you more drunk or something) :lol:

Got up late. Checked all the webcams/police cams and noticed a lot of them where switched off..

Normally you should head into town around 8-9am but I didn't until around 12 (which is close to start time).

Got to the Quays and it was pretty crowded trying to get to O'Connell Street.

Walked up as close as we could to O'Connell Street to see the parade. Got as close as possible but couldn't see anything. Put the camera high in the air just to see this.

Gave up and headed to the custom house, as there was a fairground there.

I tried out a thing called the Equinox (can't be made out in picture). The GF was a bit smarter and sat it out. A kid getting off it was in tears crying and had wet himself. I got on, I have to say it was the single most frightning/sickening ride I have ever been on. Even when it stopped spinning my head didn't. (and I've been on the skydrop in Seoul Land!)

Walked away from the Custom house, and went drinking/food to calm my nerves. Got home around 4pm, played an hour of NC (if that) then watched TV with beer.

Paddies day is more for kids. :p
