Its should not cost the same as a new retail game, that would really just be taking the piss.

I say £20 for an expansion since most new FULL games retail here at £30.

Last time I checked, the USD > GBP rate was something crazy like $1.8 to the £.. so $40 is £22 :D

And it would not be like most expansions that chuck in extra features and levels etc, you would still get a full Game.

Depends on what the expansion has to offer.
Aside from the graphical upgrade, it just seems like a big patch to me.
Its taken 2 years to make DoY, so it must be good!!!!!
I would spend 100 $$$ just to see the awesome work KK have accomplished under 2 years!!!!
I'd expect to pay between £10-15 ( I paid £19.99 for NC) as I already have an account and expect new players to pay £25-30 which would include the free month as well.

it's and expansion, I'd pay at most £15 for it, I might be swayed to go as high as £20 but not more..
It's just and expansion, so I don't expect to be paying though the nose.
BTW, got neocron for £20, so an expasion at £20 would not be nice..

£20 sounds about right to me too.
i only have 1 account but bare in mind that all accounts someone owns will be upgraded with 1 purchase. so peeps with more act's could be willing to pay more than us tightarses :p

PC expansions retail at 19.99, double packs usually around 39.99

in denmark expansions normally cost 100 kr less than the game. (a new game = 400 kr)
but sometimes there are expansions at 100 kr.
anyways I voted 50 $
cuz thats 380 kr.

Joke...... Yeah I'd pay up to £50 just to have Doy, hell its taken long enough but I have no doubt it will be "teh pwn". Will really breath life into the game..... and non-pixelly prostitues. *Drools* :D
I said $30 but would regretfully pay $40. But I'd pay $100 if it stops the game from crashing or timing out in one way or another during Zoning.
My computer is fine. It did it after reinstalling windows after switching from DSL to Cable after reinstalling game. Etc...
But I keep playing cuz the game is just so darn good.
The thing about DoY is that surely it will not be classed as an Expansion as such, as you will not be able to own Neocron anyway without DoY.

I am almost sure I read in some thread (cant remember if it was runner or GM posted)
about something with you being able to play neocron without BDOY but that you would just not be able to use the features it had..
(even though i cant see how, some maps will be missing, a lot of new items wont be shown.. it would just be weird)
It was in the planfile thread. MJS stated NC CAN be played without BDOY.
U'll miss out on the keyfeatures tho, new engine, DoY etc. Only the bare essentials will be added thru a patch I reckon.
This makes BDoY an elaborate expansion pack and I'd be willing to chip about €35 for it per account. But I think you only need to buy 1 expansion if u have several accounts??

Well you know it's not gonna happen.
I can go buy Neocron for $30 CDN, the expansion should not be more than that.
That's a measly 12.5 pounds.
I don't think us faithful customers that went through the bad should pay the full fucking price.

5 star thread, is much needed atm as martin is is negotiations with 10tacel maybe he can point them in the direction of this post so they can see what the community would prefer :)

$40 is way too much... no expansion pack goes for that much... like $29.99 w/o tax for the highest ones...

about 12-15? dunno for sure though
im hoping to only have to dish out 20 bucks...but ill spend more if i have to i guess...even though i can afford to even keep my monthly payments up:rolleyes:
How much added content is in the Expansion, does it fix the
existing problems, bugs etc or just add new ones?
30$ or 13 pounds, is what I would be willing to pay if it does a decent job of addressing the above!
