Drops from Terror Raptors afaik, found anywhere around the TG cannons and north-east of map :)

Terror leaper 90/90 *** is the only one that drops it as far as i know.

best place is anywhere up E and NE, my personal favorite is h_12

Yup terror leapers drop em but its about a 1 in 10'000 chance of dropping one, it seems!o_O

Dunno about terror raptors...i dont see many of them as it is and for one to drop a fh2 (like some ppl say they do) would be 1 in a million.....go for terror leapers, u can find them in F_12 and F_13....though they dont spawn often at all but alot more than terror raptorso_O

terror leapers have a less chance at dropping them i think...

theres normally a couple raptors in the zone with the TG vehicle station, and theres normally one in the crp zone towards the one zone line to tezla...

as its a level 2 imp, the chances are indeed low.

Terror Leapers would not drop them at any less % chance than a Terror Raptor... once you know how the loot system works you can see it's just very random because within main groups there are subitems that can be dropped...

For example, many level 3 implants are clumped together in a group thats designated to drop at maybe 2%-4% per drop slot or so. That 2%-4% only applies to one in the group... If there are 500 items in a group, obviously chances of any one dropping are extremely minimal, yet you can also have 2 or 3 drop from one mob, again, its all probability, there is no "secret mob that drops more filter heart 2s than any other".

The mobs that drop these implants have been mentioned, well actually I think one or two were left out. :)

You're right, and they still do! (Those in the game still at least)

I'm pretty sure there are more though, which can't be confirmed by what you use, because what you use can no longer be useful in our patches...another can't be made that would show the changes anymore.

Personally, I haven't seen them since Beta 4, in the normal n00b sewers. They were invisible too. A bunch of spiders would spawn from them, like a spawn point only named. I don't remember if it was ever given a texture, but then again I also don't remember the Filter Heart 2 back then either.

I think you get better drop rate, if you try to kill one of the mentioned mobs with a low ranking character.

Like a low-mid-lvl spy or pe supported by a ppu.

I'm pretty sure theres only 2 categories when it comes to rank mattering with drops.

If you don't get money from a mob, ie "too weak blah blah" then you won't get much loot, but as long as it doesnt say that, you'll get the same chances as everyone else.

Drag a warbot to a 120/120 guard and loot it, you'll see no good loot in there, yet you can be super high rank and still get a few things of loot, trust me, as long as you aren't WAY above the mobs (which you cant be as most are 90/90) then you'll get the loot.

The cocoons were pretty scary.
Sometimes spiders would crawl on them, sometimes you just saw pieces of spiders sticking out o_O

When they was visible that is...

Man oh man the xp and money they gave :)

Well, I've played this game nearly a year now and before last week I hadn't even seen FH2 before. Then all of the sudden I looted 2 FH2 in a couple of days.

Luck or something else? Who knows.

I've hunted for months, as thats what i enjoy in NC :rolleyes:

I've had a FH2 drop around 9 months ago on saturn, and its the only one ive had / seen.

I don't actually play on saturn anymore, so if anyone wants it i'll swap it for a herc :p

only they drop it (not sure bout TR, but a friend said this)

Oh definately more than those two drop it, read above in this thread and you'll see a couple more mentioned... and there are more that aren't mentioned but implied.

Ah crap, I meant leaper - killed thousands of raptors never had a FH2 drop.. Also never had a drop from a leaper either! :eek:
