Character - how old?

I noticed last night that my main char was born on - 04/28/2742 (see the char selection screen when u log on)

I then checked the NC date when I logged on - 09/04/2788

that makes my char 46!!! :eek: almost time to draw my pension!

how old is everyones else's main char?

(sorry but I'm at work and can't be arsed doing anything!) :D

- PE: 10-28-2744
- Tank: 9-3-2745

It would seem to follow the order of creation for my first 3 chars, but the last character I made (spy) has an older date than my three firsts.

Altho I remember having there another character, one failed attempt of a tradeskiller quite time ago. Not sure if it is the cause, but anyway the dates for me seems to not be accordingly with the time of creation... not for my spy at least.

//edit: no way, I've checked another account and I'm completely sure that those chars are newly created than the ones I mentioned above, yet the second acc chars have all 2742/3 year of creation.

IIRC NC time is RL*6. It's 2789 in-game atm so a long time. I doubt we will get to hear from Irata II anytime soon. Then again I'm pretty sure the date leapt forward a few years on at least one occasion without explanation.

You have to accept some narative convention. Near light-speed travel is a given in the NC storyline and that's fine - so are rayguns and telepathy after all. Somehow though they have faster-than-light comms which is a but inconsistent.

sgt.striker is 2-26-2743 my oldest retail nc char, i made him like 2 days before pluto went up, then moved to pluto, then came back to saturn.

the dob must be wrong then... striker is older then pluto.... or did the servers start at a set year so saturn is in a futher year then pluto?
