Why not add a cyborg class. think about it. first instead of waking up in mc5 we wake up in out faction hq. being told that there was a accident with a gr and we almost died, but by using machines we were rebuilt. also they had to take a part of out brain out that is why we have less skill then before. then we would have special items for ourself. also all of our weapons would be energy base. (to feed off our internap gerenator. now we get the equal to a rifle but it is a mod for our arm. we do the normal reseacher and cst, but then we need a poker to put it in. then when we use it the graphics look as tho it is raised out of our arm.
so everyone knows this is just a rough idea!
so please be gental with your flames, and maby try to add your own idea to it.
PS: If you do not like the idea please put input in this thread on why you dont like the idea.
Good idea... I remember hearing someone from KK saying that there's no races in neocron, only classes because elves wouldn't fit into a cyber punk world. What about cyborgs as a race, that can use the existing classes? What about Mutants?

its a kool idea, tho the adding of a new class will never happen i dont think, but the implanted guns is a very good idea :)
could be away to introduce more heavy weapons, cos tanks seem to lack in the bullet firing front.
Neocron has 4 classes. Thats a terrible amount of classes for a game.
I still thing Mutants should be playable, just to add a new class.
More classes = The Norm.
Neocron is extremely below par for choice of character.
Whatever path you take, your bound to be absolutely identical to a fifth of the rest of the population.
In my opinion they NEED to think about at least two more classes.

Don't you think that by the time you've got four brain implants, a cybernetic eye, a cybernetic heart, a cybernetic spine, and advanced head/leg/arm/chest/foot bones, and a Michael Jackson glove that shoots energy, you're pretty much a cyborg already?

Yeah, it would be good if there where only a few areas of humanity left in you, like part of your brain and your schlong. (can't live without your schlong!:p)
are you talking like, the new character creation would be
Race: Human, Cyborg, Mutant
Followed by Class: Private Eye, Spy, Psi Monk or Gen Tank?
That would be pretty cool, effect the stat caps by race...
too bad there are no BONER Enforcements so you can do more SEX damage (to droms off cource)
Or make it slotted so you can have a Legendary, enlarged, stabalized, range increased BONER Enforcement :D

I was just thinking of that game (can't remember the name) where you have to make p0rn pictures and video's and stuff like that, first you start at a simple villagle and then you move to a larger city and stuff like that. Also a lot of blackmailing was involved. Used to be a quite funny game, but i just can't remember the name of it :(

Neocron has 4 classes. Thats a terrible amount of classes for a game.I hate to disagree, but 4 classes is actually very little indeed.
Take a look at some of the other major MMORPGs out there. Anarchy Online has 14, Galaxies has... lots. Well, that's 2 that I know of :P
The sheer number of classes in anarchy online is the main reason I play that more then Neocron these days, because there is so so so much more variety compared to just 4 :(
More classes! It's the way forward! :o
