and yes its plain i want it to be plain, i got 20gb bandwidth a month but i still dont want it to be taken up ;P so im gonna keep it simple

You should throw in QDs char setups in there for new players :o
put a forum on it, so people can post any new information or any sections they would like to see added.
edit:
i also plan to list all of the items in game and put screen shots of their info window.
also, u do not have to be registered to post on the forum.

but its very cheap hosting so dont really NEED help. its only 44$ a year. if my bandwidth gets taken up fast i might though... thats why im tryin to keep everything simple.

A good feature in the leveling guide would be a list of ideal leveling spots and a recomended solo level, or a reccomended team/ppu level.
I find over a year since I started I'm still discovering new places to level in. Maybe it's because even now I'm still a big noobie at heart. :)

Athon Solo was usin it as an example, i dont even like phpnuke postnuke or any of those but still im glad they are available. anyway, it has alot of nice perks tho, unlimited mysql, unlimited email addresses, unlimited ftp addresses, lots o nice stuff cant think of atm

I'm making my own, setups for every possible setup.
setups for individual weapons for PE's

different types of tanks
monks (even ones that use weapons, yes its posible, mostly ppu monks as damage boosts make it bearable to use those low level weapons on high end mobs :D)
but thanks to QD and his setups I know how to make god like setups, even without the skill managers.
I would avoid pics of items/weapons if yuo want to reduce bandwidth.
I keep thinking it would be cool to get pics of all the mobs in-game up on a site somewhere but then I think how long it would take and give up on the idea. Maybe someone else would do it though....

yea im just wonderin how much bandwidth it would take up.
each pic would be no bigger than 30kb due to jpg compression ( they dont need to be high quality ) so lets just say someone looks at 200 pics. thats 200x30 which is 6000kb which is 6mb. which will mean about 3333 more people will be able to look at 200 more pics that are at 30kb.
and not even that many people play NC, and to tell you the truth the most people i expect to look at the site would be maybe 15 people a week... ;P
20gb bandwidth should be able to handle it ok. and if it doesnt i will upgrade my bandwidth

RoF caps are on Rustot's site and therefore almost everyone else's.
yarrrr... i'm finishing up a database inventory similar to tricin.net's, but without all the flashy stuff, but the same info (i hate how laggy it is and how big of a footprint the webpage leaves, not to mention the 56k download time). Then I will start writing the search scripts and finish up the user input scripts (i.e. logged in users can submit updates on an item to the admins so no single person has to manage the site).
but if anyone cares, I'm still working on http://nc.synergyxr.net/, the community driven resource site. If there's an item missing in the item listings, feel free to register and add it.
