Brightness settings won't change.

I'm a bit confuzzled. For some reason, no matter how I change my brightness or gamma settings in the options, nothing changes. What's up?

Are you running in Windowed mode? If so I found that the settings don't change in that option, however, if you are running it in full screen mode I don't know whats going on :D

Yup, I'm in windowed mode. I'm on a widescreen monitor so fullscreen mode looks all fat and squishy to me.

So no way to change them in windowed mode? :\

Try putting

GAMMA = "1.1"
in your neocron.ini. Play around with the value until you get something you like. I think that affects window mode.

if not, you may have some software that came with your vid card (like Nvidia setting) and this allows you to up the brightness of your desktop.

You'll have a scary background, but your game will run fine.

Erm im at my school computer and so I dont have access to the Neocron client, if I was to press alt and enter, in other games it makes it smaller, does it work on Neocron?
