Arsenal have been ahead of Man U most of this season.
Arsenal were undefeated in the league last time I checked unless they lost recently o_O

Just checked, outside the champion's league arsenal haven't lost a match since july.

There are two kinds of supporter at any game Manchester United play.
Manchester United Supporters and everyone else.
Regardless of whether you support Liverpool, City, or Southern Colombia - Manchester United has more 'haters' than fans.
Even now, it's becoming easier to get tickets as many of the glory supporters are running away to the new fad teams such as Chelsea.
Even when Arsenal are a clear 7 points, United are the team to hate and the team to beat.
As has been said before:
The team that finishes above Manchester United is the team that wins the premiership
And to be honest it's never over until it's over, which is why I love watching football so much.
Good luck Porto, there's a very good chance that United won't win the premiership this season - so you can be sure they will be going for every other piece of silverware available.

Manchester is no crapper than any other city , have you taken a look at Birmingham recently or London. I think you will find that you can attach crap to pretty much any city and you would find people that agree with you.
In my eyes there are two types of people in Manchester , narrowminded redneck townies and rockers .......... thankfully I belong to the latter.
I support Man U , not because they win but because I was brought up a red by my Dad. I sat through the eighties when we won the odd cup here and there and Liverpool were THE team.......... it was sheer hell. But even then I don't recall people hating them as much as Man U are hated now.
People don't like success , they HATE people / institutions that are successful beyond that of the norm. This is why Man U are hated sooo much by every other team I reckon , we have taken success to a greater level.
We have the second greatest number of supporters around the globe ( Bayern Munich are above us I believe and they suffer the same hatred ) , we have expanded the business beyond the realms of football ( thought outside the box as it were ).
As for the match against Porto , I reckon we'll do them over two legs ............ but hey it's a game,I'm not gonna lose any sleep or top myself if we don't , I just hope it's a good game.
As an impartial supporter (Support a team thats been in division 1 for over a decade)
I would have to say,
Manchester United are on the whole, a better team, with a better manager, and much better strategy than Arsenal.
That doesnt mean I think Arsenal are Shite or anything. I think Arsenal are Englands 2nd best team.
Manchester United will win 3-1 and Porto. ;)
I'm not as certain now that Man U will do Porto over the two legs ........... that has to be the shittest performance in a European game ( that mattered ) by Man U for a long time and most of those players should go home tonight and cry in shame.
Add to that a referee that seemed to be on the Porto payroll and I'm not a happy fookin bunny.
We've always made it hard for ourselves I suppose , but that was just a really disappointing game.
Well done to the gooners and chelski though.
Told you all Keane was the best, he just should have trodden on him harder.
And Chelsea, not 1 shot on target, and Gudjohnsens miss.................. when they meet a good team they will go out.

And to those who think that being top of the Premier League makes one team better than another, which trophy would you rather have, European Cup, FA Cup, Premier League Trophy or League Cup?

Atm I'm probably looking at Salford or MET.
I applied for UMIST but the Physics course I picked is among the first to merge with University of Manchester, so I have to wait for the new application to go through. It's still my first choice though. :)
