Max amount of 1 item possible?

I have over 200 of a certain item, is 256 the max limit and if it is, will any more than 256 be lost when you log out and back in?

you can have things stack to 249 in any one stack but you can have more than 249 of each item they wont disapear they will just form a new stack

It was fixed a few patches ago, because too many people lost too many stacked items, because there was no warning about having more than 255 items in one stack would delete all above that, not to mention mistakenly putting another 10 or so stack into an already 250 stack.

Cost a lot of people a lot of items and money, because of this bug..

but as was said, it has been fixed.. so go ahead.. research and construct and store go right ahead.. it does the stack management for you. :)

I'm not sure if this is still the case, but I think there are still problems caused by buying more then 250 items at the same time.
But as I said, not entirely sure about that.
