Well, although Beta NC was hella fun, it kinda dulled down a lot. And with the amount of bugs that emerged it was just silly. Hell, when I left there were still bugs that had been around since the beginning of retail. I tried helping out, helped newbies around, even volunteered my services as a GM, but carby never got back to me.
And I didn't ask for any information at all, it was a crack at the fact that DoY was always promised to be just over the horizon, and hundreds of people were (and maybe are) waiting for DoY to revitalise the NC experience. I'm sure it will to some extent, good luck with it MJS.

Only reason I use msn now is beacuse I got a new IM program that combines it and 3 other message services into one, as people are so uptight about exclusively preferring one IM program over another so now I can talk to them without running 3 programs and taking a large chunk of resources :)

to be honest i actually love turn based games :D
i played FFXI for a few months, that game is pretty sweet
only reason i quit is cause i had a bad day in which i died 3 times on both my chars and leveled down from a key level :wtf:
grrrr damn XP loss
but turn based games are great....every once and a while though you need some real time PVP ;p

If he's coming from SW:G he'll think NC is bug free and stable. He'll have to adjust to solid walls and characters that usually last a whole week without vanishing though I suppose.

I played SWG for 2 months..
I have NEVER wasted that much money, on something that useless.
80 $ first to buy the game.. then another 15 $ every month.

Yes in order to become a Jedi.. you have to do what the holothingies tell you...
Lets say, you want to be a Rifleman.. so you start going up in that..
Then you obtain a few holothingies.. (like mc5 parts, pricy as hell and hard to get).
Then you activate it.. and "BAM".... In order to bla bla bla you must learn the skill of Master Smuggler

All people have an inherent psychological impulse to impress and to portray theirselves in a certain way. For some people this can mean getting cosmetic surgery, for others it could mean having a shirt on. It's relative but every little part of you you adjust or alter for appearance sake is that psychological thoughts kicking in.
