i get that shit every day, sometimes worse sometimes better.. and tbh KK have known about FREs since retail started and we still get them. They've had a year to fix that bug and they've still got it. The only reason i tolerate it is that every mmog i've palyed has been unstable at launch for about a year.. UO was shit for the first year but it cleaned up its act... we can only hope that BDoY takes neocron to the mainstream... or otherwise it'll die..

i got exactly the same thing. so annoying. ive mailed tech@noecron.com 3 days ago but no answer yet. I think that people that play away from the server or have high ping get this synch bug more often.

I played neocron in switzerland on a 56k modem 250ish ping and I NEVER had the synch bug while relogging for 1-1.5 months. but were I live in UAE i got a 1MB DSL with a ping of 380-500 and i get this synch bug always.

I get the odd FRE every now and then and hardly ever get caught in a sync - wtf u bitching for - if it was JUST KK's fault, don't u think everyone would sync at the same time? And don't give me no "its bad netcode" shite - try looking at the crap u got running in the background before whining... :rolleyes:

Neocron need to implement a feature like Windows XP. Where when an App Crashes it send a report to Microsoft. However i dont think KK want 1 Million Reports a day :p

Yes there was. And no, it's not my net connection. The language was because everytime someone brings this up, their frustration with it, the fanboys here jump on it and make stupid claims that there can't possibly be anything wrong with the netcode or the game itself or the servers. It's all our fault for just barely exceeding the games system requirements.

1.5Mb cable with no bandwidth cap (I work for the ISP that provides my connection)

I live in South Carolina. Traceroutes to the servers stick around 15ms, even though I am routed from my town, to atlanta about 100 miles away, then to washington dc, then to new york city. the response never spikes above 15ms. Then, there is the great leap across the sea with a supposed dedicated curcuit and it spikes from 15ms to 140ms. From there, it remains pretty much the same until it reaches it's destination in germany.

When I had dsl, I had the same exact issues that I have now. It has nothing to do with my computer or my connection.

Check your packet loss. The synching occurs to me only when my connection goes crappy or I get high packet loss. The second one is worse as pings stay around 90 in NC by I sync like a mad man and reloging takes 5-8 tries till my char has all his inventory, skills and implants.

man this sounds like most of us are getting shafted for our money. yeah when i first started playing there was absolutly no problems, 'a-okay' u'know. couple days later i had some infinite syncs, occasional fatal etc. now i get fatals a little more, and a little more often....and then there was that time i was a lvl 35 tank and then i sync and i'm lvl 71 apu/droner? wtf?? haha yes it's funny now. i got killed, get ready to be poked and i figured that my heart imp was gone (considering it wasnt there when i pressed f3) so i go pay 20K (which is a lot for me) for a new one, go to get poked and viola! it wont go in cuz the imp that i couldnt see was already there lol. so i tipped the person the imp i just bought.
