Can someone post a link to the grid that shows which factions are allied/enemies with which other factions?

Thanks.

Select the faction you want from the right column.

The .pdf Possessed posted is probably the best, but failing that, there's still my leet ASCII skillz (http://neocron.jafc.de/showthread.php?s=&postid=899428#post899428). Just in case you don't have Acrobat Reader installed.

And dangit, why can't a man edit his 6 month old posts to fix a spelling error, bloody rules! :p

I'd have just converted it to .gif, proper program with that few colours in an image means truly no quality loss. ;p

Heck I fired up Photoshop and saved it as a .jpg, which is what he referred to, with highest picture quality compression (i.e. no compression). It looked identical, and was still reduced to 190K.

So obviously someone doesnt know much about digital image manipulation. :)

The only changes to faction alliances have been FA turning hostile to CA and CM being allied with DOY(doy bots dont shoot them, unless that was fixed). Otherwise if you are hostile to CA then you are allied to DOY. So your alliance graphs should just be black and white, DOY and Neocron ; )

I recall a patch note or somthin about a change to BD's alignment with TG, I believe they're still hostile though. As far as I know Crahn is definitly allied with DOY.

An interesting statistic would be to tally how many allies and hostiles are within the same side of the war. Ie how many anti city factions hate each other or like each other.

I believe it works out like this:

Hostiles:
Neocron (2): Next/PP & TT/BT
Doy (7): TS/BD & TS/CS & BD/TG & BD/CM & BD/FA & CS/FA & CM/TG

Allies:
Neocron (9): CA/DRE & CA/Next & CA/TT & CA/BT & CA/PP & DRE/Next & DRE/TT & Next/TT & BT/PP
Doy (3): BD/CS & CS/TG & FA/TG

Edit: Forgot to addin my last remark.
From this I conclude that Neocron factions are weak and must band together to be strong. Doy factions on the other hand are strong individualy, but weak together. Sounds like an easy victory for Neocron, the best Doy can do is use guirilla warfare with resistsance cells spread around. We have no hope of holding our home city (doy).

Am I the only one that thinks that the existing faction politics will stay nearly the same while another layer (Neocron - DoY) will be added on top? It just seems entirely ridiculous to me to all of the sudden have in essence 2 factions.

Note to self: Read Carinth's posts. :p
