Well its an online translation so yeah...lol but NOT babelfish!

----------------------------

How yes some of you read already on MCV-Online, we will offer (10T/KK) with the Release of DoY a new Payment system. The system is named "Click-2-Pay" and is offered of the Wirecard CORP. It prices above all through especially high reliability, user kindness and international order itself, and/or applicability.

All previous and to the Release of NC: BDoY of disconnected Accounts are administered however also further over the momentarily offered Payment providers (PayByCash, ELV and Worldpay). The change to Click-2-Pay for existing Accounts is therefore voluntary, is rewarded however through a credit for a month "Free-Play". Details in addition yet are announced.

Further details over the Click-2-Pay Payment system takes your please the side of the manufacturer of developer: http://www.wirecard.com

Bah, at least I bothered to go through the effort of asking (In German I might add) the German players/moderators to translate for us :p

Anyone ever heard of them before ?

I did notice they are a German company.

What I wanna know is what happens if customers are not happy paying via a payment system they never heard of before ?

~TratosI'll admit that. Considering it didn't throw in the words goat and sex randomly like Babelfish tends to do :p

They are indeed primarily German focused - a lot of their stuff is/was localised billing for international services.

They've been around a while, mostly in niche markets like telecoms reverse transaction billing, micropayments etc.

The majority of their volume is from "white label" stuff, so they are less visible than Paypal/Worldpay/NoChex/Billpoint etc etc. - they try and provide a complete back end infrastructure, sort of like an ASP, most of which is hidden behind the branding of the merchant in question.

I haven't been involved with anything using them since late 2001, or thereabouts, so they may have changed focus a bit and/or grown some in the last couple of years.

This is just a heads up, to let you know they aren't complete unknowns ;)
