Starting Crash

When my friend starts up neocron, as soon as he pressed any button on keyboard it crashes.

HELP??

Is he using the default control scheme? If he is, try getting him to remap it to a WASD based one, this generally fixes these problems.
Otherwise try enabling/disabling Num Lock.

if he is running ts in the background tell him to disable direct input because that makes you crash to desktop if you hit the arrow keys

i loaded it up and all i did was Smeggers_ thats as far as i got
dont run TS
dont have num lock on
have cordless usb keyboard

have you tried reinstalling?

have you tried reinstalling the drivers for your keyboard? and if that fails i'm stumped

when trying to change the controls to wasd it crashes

reinstalled mouse/keyboard drivers still non functionable :)

tried using a standard PS2 mouse and k/b to rule out any possibility of it actualy being that k/b causing the problem

ahh closed got it working it took downloading all the patches seperatly all over again but it worked thanx for everyones support..
