any heaver drinkers on here? if so just leave you message (and try to do while being drunk and or under the influence of another substance if you can) because the most bizzarre messages come from the drunk ppls or...stoned pplz etc like my amsterdam story. anyhoo can U tell that i am SMASHED? because i certainly am just like i said i'd be in the valentines forum...anyhoo this is fun....but im a little too drunk to play my tank right now...heh maybe ill just play as my tradeskill runner and make some money while saying bizzarre shit on local netword haha :)

Im a heavy drinker. Why? Because shit happens in life. And alcohol and drugs make you forget about the shit, and focus on things you like.
After 5 days of work, the last thing I want to do is be sober for the other two.
This may be biased, but im gonna tell you one thing...people that dont drink or do drugs are the worlds BITCHES. Especially women. It seems like if you run into a real bitch, a really awfull woman, I can almost guarantee you they don't drink. Dunno if theres any survivor fans in the house (flame away fuckers), but take Sue from this season (8, all stars) for example...the biggest bitch on the show by far, the only one on her tribe that doesn't drink. hahah coincidence?
Theres aspects of life you simply cannot enjoy while sober. Although I don't believe in hard, addictive drugs, I can honestly say that I would not enjoy life half as much if it wasn't for alcohol, marijuana and ketamine.
And yes I don't care what your opinions are, unless they are constructive.

I dont like people who get violent when they drink :( Last night it was about this |-| close that i didnt beat the hell out of a one drunk guy who was 2 years younger than i am. I had never seen him before and that guy just comes and tryies to push me around and swear at me. I told him to stop but im not even sure if he knew what he was doing. If that guy would have hitted me, he would have waken inside a hospital, with a broken arm or something... Well after a while i got tired of that BS and tryied to walk away, well the guy jumped in front of me. I told him that i will go there, so please move. Well he didnt, instead he tryied to push me backwards so i grapped hes arm and sticked his head in snow. I think that cleared his head because he didnt follow me anymore or anything :)
Anyway the reason why i am telling this is that if you get agressive when you drink, do your self a favor and dont drink. If you have to drink, take a punching bag or something with you :D

Sound advice. I never really understand how people get "violent" when they drink. It should be relaxing, enjoyable....not something that induces violence?
BTW g0rt, this maybe a stupid question, but whats ketamine? I have never heard of that, but weed rocks :D I hope that someday i will have enought money to buy a big enought house and start growing my own weed :) And the house has to have room for a small dojo too, so i can practise at home :)
Edit: Thats what i think too, but some people just get agressive when they drink enought... I dont know why it is like that, maybe they are angry to them selfs because they are drinking again... Well im happy and polite when i drink, thats why i sometimes i find my self in bed with a girl i have never seen before... Well thats kinda funny too, if you dont take life too seriously you will have much more fun :D
heh, yeah, drinking never makes me or any of my friends violent. When we drink and get wasted we have some convos about random ass shit, then either play games or pass out on the floor :p

Heheh a little stash of your own? I wouldn't wanna do that where I live...although its legal to carry it as long as your not distributing it, its definately far from legal to grow it...and the punishment is too great to risk in my opinion. :(
I fuckin hate those assholes that can't hold their drink. Especially the ones that try starting trouble. I have no time for them - if they look like that are trying to start any trouble, I bang 'em one in the ear before they get a chance. And I have NEVER EVER seen someone who is well pissed who can fight - just doesn't happen.
Now, find peeps who have had some weed, or popped a pill, you never get any trouble. I can't condone the use of drugs, but you always get less problems.... weird. And no, I'm not a big drinker either. You gotta drink to forget shit or have a good time, then something is wrong.
Well its illegal to grow or even carry it in here (Finland), but still you can find it almost everywhere. If police would find out that i have weed, i would prolly only lose all of it and have to pay about 200e. And thats why im not afraid of having it :D

neber been much on the drugs, kicked back with weed once or twice but not with any real frequency...
booze on the other hand is an entirely different story
I prefer good beer or just about anything with vodka in it
I used to drink mucho tequila but kinda wore myself out on it.
as to how hard of a drinker am, well i've cut back, not alot of time for it recently, I've been a marine, and that = hard drinker in most cases cause there just aint always much else to do.
Mmm drinking games are your friend :D
Especially ones that cause an entire table of people to fail to remember the previous nights carnage

You're right, that's horribly biased. Generalised, too. You get nasty people who don't drink, and nasty people who do. I guarantee I could go down to a pub tonight and fun a drunken fool who would just love to start a fight with anything that moved.
Then again, I'm one to talk. I don't drink heavily but I can barely duel without having a joint beforehand; purely because it stops the natural twitching I have and because everything becomes a thousand times more fun. :D

I've seen heavy drinkers, not having a single neuronal connection left after 5 years of regular heavy weekend drinking ... thats a picture you dont forget.
Seeing a 20 year old not capable anymore to follow the easiest procedures makes you start to think..., oh but i bet you all are able to stop whenever you want.

I do not drink or do drugs. I have in the past and stopped quite a few years ago.
I'm no ones "bitch" and I aint one either thanks very much.
If you need these things to enjoy yourself, or "aspects" that you cant enjoy sober, then the bad news is you have an addictive personality. :p
Im quite happy with my life in general (excpet work, that sucks and still would suck if i was out of my face every day :p) and am quite happy with the fact that I'm one of the few people in a country of alchoholism that has the sense and personal restraint to realise what a friggin joke and rip-off it all is.

btw Max - It all depends on your definition of "heavy". Like everything it can be taken too far but there are a lot of positive sides to regular and reasonable alcohol consumtion including reducing stress, controlling blood pressure, reducing risk of heart attack and not living like you have a stick up your arse.
I drink a fair bit more than most people would recommend - it has no effect on my mental abilities or health. I do it because I enjoy it. I have been concerned about my level of drinking in the past and at those times I have just stopped doing it until I was sure it was under control. If others lack the self-control to do the same I have no pity for them.
Like someone said earlier, voluntary tea-totallers are a bunch of tossers who should be stuck on a leaky boat and dropped in the middle of the ocean (put the veggies on there too).

Probably. People had a lot more time on their hands before the internet. They did all kinds of weird stuff.:rolleyes:

Rather that than spend a night listening to the drunken babble and noise of fools and addicts :p (and clearing up the sick and piss, and dealing with the hungover grumpy shits in the morning... ahh.. the list goes on...)
I quite enjoy being the sober one when it's my turn to be the driver actually. It can be quite fun once in a while. Doing it all the time just so you can be a self-righteous pompous ass though makes you a prat IMO.
I don't know about other people but me and my mates have a rule - you clean up your own mess. I certainly wouldn't do the cleaning if I'd not had the fun.
Hangovers can be an arse but if that's the price of having fun then I can pay it. I'd rather a few hangover days than a life of drab misery trying to convince myself I am somehow more worthy for not enjoying myself.
The only addicts I drink with regularly are the smokers.

Im just clearing worse case scenarios. I dont mind drinkers or anything and some people are pretty damn funny pissed. Its when things get ugly (as they oh so inevitably do) that I tend to avoid it for.
I WAS an Alchoholic (possibly just borderloine, but when i realised it scared the shit outta me). Thats why i dont drink anymore. I'd rather not risk slipping into old bad habits as it is so easy to do.
Plus, most drunk people piss me off, particularly the wife n her family pissed, yet another example to me of why not to bother.
Circumstances my man Jernau. Lumping everyone who doesnt drink into one boat doesnt work, neither does lumping everyone who does into another.
(nb. I will have the occasional glas of wine with a meal or beer with friends if the occasions arises but even then i never really have more than 2 or 3 max. last time I had a beer / glass of wine... new years i think it was. Will probably have a glass or two tonigth with dinner though since the wifes making a special effort :D )

@Elric - No offence meant mate. I wouldn't class you as "voluntary" if you've had a close call tbh. I do know a few alcoholics and it's not a joking matter in most cases (though I know one or two who love it and wouldn't change for the world :p ).
Living around people who don't know their limits is annoying regardless of what they are the limits of.
As for the "trouble" aspect - I think that's something people learn to avoid or grow out of. At least most people I know have. I learnt 10+ years ago that I reacted very badly (not violent) to some spirits so I don't drink them or anything that might possibly be like them.

Anyways, Jern m8, no offence taken at all. I'd class myself as voluntary really as I realised what was happening and now voluntarily avoid it due to past experience. but even then, A close one's a close one i guess, so yea, you got a point.
its a heavy issue in todays society indeed and with the amount of promotion on it i find disturbing considering the harm it can lead to, both personally and publically.
Youre dead right though, people who dont know theyre limits should be avoided like a plague. Most people learn early, its a sad shame theres such a majority who never do though.
and if any of you lot were ever up here and invited me out, rest assured I would have a pint on the occasion of socialising, I aint tottally stuck in me ways after all ;) (the likleyhood of any of you actually seeing me shitfaced is slim to say the least though :p )

ketamine can be an addictive substance, any substance can tbh, even weed. many people argue that its not but personally i disagree. ive lost count the amount of times ive woken up craving a spliff/bong. some people argue its the tobacco but i dont smoke tobacco. i have done in the past so i know it aint that. as for people using/not using various drugs, well its perfectly natural to do it. if it helps you in your life and its hurting noone else then i dont see a reason why you shouldnt do it. people who steal to feed habits is low. people who like a crafty spliff while theyre ppuin in the caves is a different thing entirely. i rarely drink also to the tee-totallers but ive drank/smoked/snorted and burned pretty much all the drugs commonly available in the uk and a few not so well known ones. does that mean i too am a bitch? hardly.
its each to their own.
I don't mind the drinking talk but you guys are broaching into territory that isn't suitable for the forums guys so I'm going to close this now before I get anymore complaints.
