the new one is MUCH better, MUCH cleaner and MUCH more cyber punkish.
new one is better just because old one is just plain old.... i've been staring at it for like year and a half now
I wouldn't say I dont like the current one but the new one is definatly nicer.

I know this most likely wont change anything but I want to know am I the onlyone that thinks that the upcoming GUI sucks. I mean it's too 2D (too flat), too big and way less user friendly than the current one. Sooooo.... vote for it so we can see the result :)

The new one is definitely better then the current one, but I still say it looks a bit iffy.

I like it as long as some magical lines of definition are thrown in to make it look less like a piece of paper.

I prefered my own poll more. This poll has way too many options. First of all the beta GUI sucks off better than any hooker and it's BETA GUI for reason :rolleyes: All we would've needed was just 2 options; Either the New GUI or the Current GUI. Other options are just making the poll more complicated than the subject is.
yea, simple polls are teh win. none of the options suit me except the last one. i like the current, but the new one looks better.
Don't know how to vote....
I like the new one, but don't hate the current one.....
The new one aint bad, it's too bright tho, that whitish green that surrounds the hud needs to be toned down imo.
Anyways, as long as the interface stays the same I couldn't care less about the rpos looks.
I personally prefer the old one.

Functionality > all.
If this new one can make me able to do things more efficiently, then power to it. Right now though, from the screenshots it seems LESS user-friendly, as well as bulkier. However, only using it will truly tell.
I like the old one better. The new one looks plain ole ugly. Maybe KK can code it so we can choose what one we want to use.
On a brighter side, the new graphic textures are uber sex!
The new one is not far enough along for me to judge it, that is there is no preview of all the sub windows... plus where does your credits, SL and other goodies go?

looks alot better than the beta one's imo :\
kinda makes ya feel more open, current rpos kinda makes me feel like im playin lookin through a in-game window :(
The new one looks nice, but it hurt my eyes.
Looks like the new one has too much extra stuff on it. Like they made the outline for the various boxes and the color leaked off the outline and so it was made into some wierd looking connectors. Would look better IMO if they just had the boxes wihtout that excess connecting slop.
why not just put all in game ??

and make it "downloadable" to your RPOS
WHICH rpos you want..
a way to upgrade/downgrade RPOS via citycom.. shouldnt be much of a problem for the devs to put this in.

Since the ecuse is it is being projected on the users eye, then the answer to that question there, is it will look 2d anyways. However, you can probably readjust the solidness of it, to give it a more transparent look to it, so it won't look so bold. I hoep this beta GUI is almsot ready to be patched in soon. I could go for a simpler and easier interface right about now.
err I wonder how that's going to look when i play at 640x480 res >_< and plz no comments about my res :P

The old RPOS doesnt look as cool as the new one but the old one is functional and everything is layed out where i can get cricial information quickly.
I'd really like to see some higher rez shots of the RPOS in action, 1280*960 or 1600*1200.
But with alot of people using 1024*768 I think they might feel cluttered.
Hmm it's nice but looks bulky to me, i think i would stay with the old or if i could i would have that beta one! :D
