Well, I was just thinking the other day how close we were to
getting PAs without class restrictions, and PEs using the lower
level spy PAs. Now obviously it would have been stupidly
overpowered.

Look at those resists, combined with that body health and a
capped RoLH :eek: I know this is a useless space of "what if"
but.. sheesh. the nerf thread would have known no end....

We could at least have had it for a day or so just to play
with! :p :rolleyes:

When I was Disruptor PE, I was seriously tempted to use the old Anti-radiation suit. Using that thing would have given me the most uber con set-up ever (imagine all the free points). However, it simply wasn't worth it.

If you drug for 115 str theres always the tangent anti rad suit. Doesent add dex tho, so youll be a drug whore as usual ;) but youll get resists like those, and could go for slasher aswell

yeah, I have looked into the rad suit.. did way back when it first
came in actually, not worth it imo. its 5 or so TLs too high.

As far as I can tell the whole reason KK added class restrictions to PAs was to stop PEs from using spy PA.

Thats because the PSI points haven't been allocated yet. Heh, so the pool will be quite fine.

Actually low-tech PE's should go very close to that resist setup without wearing spy PA.. unless my sight is failing me already.

/edit: btw what are the req's for PE PA's?

Yeah the low-tech PAs get this setup, but im talking about getting
it with a capped rolh. RoLH setups usually get you resists in the
100s and like 350 hps, its a huge difference between RoLH
setups and lowtech PE setups. I coulda made a lowtech setup
with spy PA1 and show just how extreme it could really be...

And yes, its pretty obvious that the only reason the PA class
restrictions were added is so PEs cant use the spy PA. But why I
dont understand is why the restrictions were added to the tank
and PE PAs, because it would have been damn cool for more
classes to be able to use those. It would have made it easier,
altho still not overpowered, to make melee PEs and rifle/pistol
tanks, and Spies could use the PE PA for kicks.

@zv: I added the duranium boots manually into the skillmanager,
just edit the files and youll see how its done...

70, 80, 90, and, I think, 105 DEX. Not sure about 4 after it was tweaked.

And yea Rade I was just stating the obvious, tho it is still good to see that a PE, even if it is "crappy lowtech", can have really extreme setups in terms of very high hp and very high resists.

Still tempted to make a low tech rifle PE myself (have pistol one), but I'm atm enjoying my recently capped rifle spy who is damn fun to play... I went the way of drugging with beast btw, still would like to see those inq/dur 1 req's lowered in 3 points :p.

Also mixed feelings about the 'class req' in PA's...

Tbh it is not on the top of my list of prioritities to make the game less cookie cutter. Some time ago I had some nice ideas of how could you make a difference between PE's specced in APU and the ones specced in PPU... dunno where are they, prolly bitting the dust in some brainport thread.

Low tech Pistol PE can get way more resists than that and more athletics actually Sleawer.

you didnt understand what rade mean a PE with rolh got suxor resist but with spy got a very good resist like a PE using lib...
