[OT]Disk mirroring Utility

I am supposed to upgrade the hard-drive on a PC at my dads work (its using an old 2gb disk which is prone to fail any time). So i got this 40gb WD disk. What i want to do is to essentially "clone" the contents of the old disk to the new one, so i dont have to do the whole reinstalling of the OS, programs, backup recovery and stuff.

Is there a program that can do that?

Ok plug the 40gb drive in as the slave drive (check ur jumpers on the back of the drive) get a copy of Norton Ghost and use its simple step by step guide to ghose Drive C: to Drive X: .

Unplug 2gb drive change jumpers for 40gb drive to make it master and bobs ur uncle

go to www.westerndigital.com and you can download their set of disk utilities- you can use that to copy the drive.
