I've never really sussed this out but,

I'm Crahn. If I kill a CA member in an anachy zone (Outzone), will I loose Soul Light? I never notice in general. I know that I loose FL to CA, because my CA is not so hot these days...

No you won't lose soulight.

U will only lose soul light in hunting zones, as for anarchy there only goes ur sympathy for that red faction u kill . And in war zones u can kill every1 with no loss of anything.

While we're on the subject, how does it work with NPCs of aligned factions, I've never tried to blast one before.

Asfaik u will lose sympathy/soul light for killing a npc green to u(depending what faction u are), and u wont lose soul light for killing a red npc
