Patch Problems

Hi

Im wondering if there is someone else that got problems from the new patch (195) ?

I simply cannot connect anymore.

I have tryed to reinstall Neocron with backup off configuration files with no go and once after without any backup off the files.

The reason I tryed to reinstall was that i says in the patch release note that is does a self check when launching and i thought i had some bad files.

It is not a network issue when a flatmate has no problems atall.

Got the problem rooted out now.

Seems to be failing NIC.

I downloaded the patch in 2 minutes (cable, >50k/min) but it installed inproperly, so right now I'm downloading the missing files for 4 (!!) hours now (0.5k/min) and still at 50%.
Come on! There must be some kind of workaround to make the updater D/L make faster....

Okay, I wouldnt have gotten away without a re-install anyway, but I was lucky enough to have a full level 194 install on my desktop too, so I just zapped my laptop's NC dir, copied, and patched... and it worked :)
